I'd like to meet a woman to enjoy DC with, get to know in a dating context, and hopefully eventually build a relationship with. On the other hand, I realize that dating is a process and I'm generally a happy camper with people's different needs and priorities. So I'm open to more short-term dating as well.
I love going to the movies, Caps and Nats games, and museums. I'm really looking to get to more SHOWS/CONCERTS and discover more of the local music scene. I've been to DC Improv (an awesome comedy club with tickets at about 15 bucks) where you can see world-class comedians. Dave Chappelle actually got his start there. I would love to go back!
I work as a paralegal at an immigration law firm currently but am interested in pursuing a writing-oriented career--so I'm exploring jobs in that area. I'd really like to become a staff writer somewhere in a non-profit and eventually make the switch to a magazine or online publication. It's not something I've done before but I've always been an exceptional writer and it's what I love to do.
I enjoy many things, including reading in Spanish and in English, being a huge music nerd and constantly discovering unfamiliar artists and building mega playlists on Spotify, working out, playing Catch Phrase or Cards Against Humanity at parties, following baseball and hockey, and going out around town--whether it's to a new restaurant or a pool hall. There are many things I aspire to in my life, and being a staff writer at some wonky place forever is not one of them--although it should be a perfect step for now!
