My Self-Summary
A Chicago girl my whole life, I'm one of those rare people whose a
theatre geek and a
computer geek.
I'm ready to go and see the latest storefront show that a friend's
in, debate whether the main character was an ass or just
misunderstood, then go home and play some Smash Bros while debating
Ubuntu versus OSX.
In college, I had people in the theatre department going, "Wait,
how can you stand those tech people?" and people in CS going,
"Wait, how can you stand those theatre people?" Go figure...
Full disclosure, I'm trans. (Yes, asking if I'm "really" a woman, "actually" a man, or any variant thereof will get you in trouble.) That's definitely a part of my identity, and I'm open about it, but it's not the only part. For example, I'd also call myself a feminist, queer, an artist, and very much in still in the process of finding myself.
I also also hate writing self-summaries, but can't decide if that's really worth mentioning...

What I’m doing with my life
I'm a lucky girl - I'm working full-time in the arts, and still have the
time/energy to take on my own theatre projects. I also teach
part-time. And trying to figure out, y'know, what I'm doing with
the rest of my life...
Right now, I'm writing a solo performance, stemming from self-narrative writing, that I'll be performing this December. It's super-exciting, super-terrifying, and the first thing I've self-produced (let alone been the sole performer in).
Also, as I said in my self-summary, I'm trans, and still transitioning; figuring out identity. If you're really dying to know more than that, you're gonna have to convince me you're worth telling.
