I am brave, independent, and adaptable.

My Self-Summary

What I’m doing with my life

Studying mathematics in sunshine California. Enjoying my divine rights as a grad student. Learning to take control in life.

I’m really good at

Mathematics, instrumental music, poetry, cooking, blogging, presenting ideas in laymen's term, memorizing long list of vocabulary

The first things people usually notice about me

Smiling. Ridiculously tall. Modesty. Sincerity. Also my eyes are said to be puny.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: all Louis Cha's fantasy on martial arts; Witch of Cologne; ancient Chinese mythological fantasy, Road to Reality- a complete guide to the laws of the universe; Sherlock Holmes; Shakespeare; the Dilbert business anthology. I also read a lot of magazine, starting from last week: these include most notably the Economist (absolutely favorite right now), science daily, scientific american, Financial times, and maybe New Yorker (the last one is a bit too literary for me, although sometimes the articles could be about very practical matters, like the one on Tian-Yau affair) Movies: horror, good romance, sacreligious movies like Da Vinci code and the Order, City of Gods Music: most of the chart toppers, I am just getting into pop music, I used to be strictly against nonclassical genre. Now I am more flexible. The theme song of an early movie on the Ojiebwe people called "the silent enemy"

The six things I could never do without

learning, music, conversations, PC, good food, clean air

I spend a lot of time thinking about

mathematics, finance, politics, strategic time management, marriage

On a typical Friday night I am

studying and doing housework

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I once told someone something I considered the most private. And she said it ain't private at all. So I guess I have none.
