OK... These summaries are never easy but here goes:

I'm 37, cute, funny, and have minimal baggage.

I love my family, my friends, and my job (most of the time)

I'm fairly independent, but I'll go out of my way for people I care about. I have no desire to be joined a the hip with anyone, nor do I need anyone else to "complete" me - I'm a whole person all on my own, thanks. But I would like to find someone to share my life and my self with and know that I'm important to them.

I'd like to find a guy who is self-aware enough to laugh at himself, someone who is funny but not cruel, sensitive but not weak, someone who will hold my hand during sappy movies and call me out when I'm being bratty. (I can be a bit of a smart ass - and occasionally a dumbass...)

I'll try almost anything twice. (Almost!) I don't take myself too seriously. I firmly believe that communication is the most important element of any relationship (friends, family, coworkers, lovers, foreign leaders) I do not expect anyone to read my mind and I don't take hints well. I perfer straight-forward conversation, even if it's not what I want to hear.

Mostly, I just want to find someone who will make me think, swoon, relax,and laugh. And I hope to be the same for someone else.

I work a normal 9-5 job that I love most of the time. Ask me and I'll tell you (it sounds way more interesting than it is)

Seriously, I generally know the difference between the "good" stuff and the not-so-good stuff, but I'm not a snob.
