My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm fairly new to San Diego and learning the area bit by bit. I would love if anyone has something fun to share with me in this city :D
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a graphic designer and trying to try something new every weekend. Keeping busy and active and figuring things out. Excited for what's to come.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
the Spot Healing Tool in CS6, putting up a-frame tents, and the Cheese Bridge in Super Mario World.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes people think I am intimidating, but soon learn that I am very silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
BOOKS: Everything by Craig Thompson, Julia Sweeney, and Mary Roach. Bossypants, Scott Pilgrim, The People of Paper, Brave New World, Clown Girl, The Cheese Monkeys, Paper Towns, CAD Monkeys, Dinosaur Babies, and T-Shaped People. I'm also really into nonfiction, lately being books about health, psychology, sociology, and books about things you never thought there would be a book about.

Check out my Goodreads.

MOVIES: I love most genres of movies and my favorites are always changing. It's All Gone Pete Tong, Amelie, Drive, The Interrupters, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Old Boy, King of Kong, What Dreams May Come, World's Greatest Dad (cheesy title to an amazingly dark comedy), Django Unchained,The Shawshank Redemption, and Airplane!are some of my tops. I really like watching documentaries about EVERYTHING.

SHOWS: I don't have cable so any shows I watch are on netflix. Dexter, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Californication, Pushing Daisies, Space Ghost, Samurai Champloo, Breaking Bad, and Girls and wonderful.

MUSIC: Currently, I like Ramona Falls, Foo Fighters, Rhymefest, No Doubt, Menomena, Eels, The Cool Kids, The Weakerthans, Peter Bjorn & John, Lit, LMFAO, The Long Winters, Cake, Sufjan Stevens, Flaming Lips, Amon Tobin, Ween, Plus/Minus, The Working Title, Röyksopp, Michael Bublé, Ulver, They Might Be Giants, St. Vincent, Grandaddy, Kanye West, Azealia Banks.

FOOD:And I LOVE food. If I don't like something now, I make sure to try it again one day. Maybe I will eventually like sushi...

VIDEO GAMES: Pretty much all the old and new Super Mario and Donkey Kong games, Portal, Portal 2, Half-Life, Bioshock (Infinite!), MarioKart, Sonic the Hedgehog,Kirby's Epic Yarn, Zelda Windwaker and Skyward Sword, (working on the old ones now). Love to play indie games and can't wait for Pikmin 3 to come out :D
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Um, I like to think that being addicted to anything probably isn't good. I don't ever want to feel dependent on something, but you can usually find me with these things: some chapstick, my Kindle, my laptop, tea, coffee, now herbal coffee since I am on a health kick, and my 3DS.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- How racism is so ingrained in our culture yet so many people think it doesn't "exist" anymore

- The best way to make friends without going to a bar

- Why Dave Grohl wrote The Best.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- Swing dancing or Blues Dancing

- watching too many episodes of a new Netflix show in a row

- going to meetup.com events to make new friends

- playing Animal Crossing and slightly resenting my boyfriend for ever getting me hooked on it

- leaving work early to go to the beach (you might all be sick of the beach here, all you San Diegans, but they don't have this kind of beauty back east :P)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I feel really aware of the ways guys try to "hook you" in the messages they send on here. It's like some sort of game. Some ask bizarre questions, some tell you jokes, a lot of them say something "shocking" or sexual to get a rise out of you.

For me, it's simple. If you are trying to fuck me, then I'm not going to respond. I also won't respond if you obviously haven't read my profile AT ALL and if you just say "hai."

I WILL respond if you act interested in me as a person, want friendship, and say anything that correlates with what I have written in here. I also realize there is no point writing this here because the only people who send the sort of messages from above don't actually read profiles anyway. So to you that do, cheers.
