i graduated from McGill in 2009 (marketing, organizational behaviour, art history), and have been back here in Vancouver since. i've always been into the arts: i used to be a musical theatre kid but dance is now my focus. i danced with a really diverse company and also with a hip hop crew for a while, but i'm really more interested in exploring the intersection between non-dance-y gestures, hip hop musicality and texture, and ballet/contemporary shapes. oh, and really wretched 90s jazz. i have my own style.

i went through a verdana phase mid-adolescence but now i'm into garamond. i also used to be really into video games but they're a tad complicated for me these days. i miss 16-bit SNES goodness.

i'm working a retail job that i love and am usually busy dancing as well. i work on independent choreography projects for showcases every now and then, which are always a lot of fun, and very gratifying. i'm trying to build a body of choreographic work so that i can hopefully get into more paid choreography and creative direction gigs. i used to teach dance to kids at studios around the city, but as much as i love kids, i can't work with them.

i had applied and gotten accepted to law school for fall 2011, but i feel like i saved my life by not going. halleloo.

the word extraordinaire is extraordinary because a) it's a French word that has infiltrated English, which has itself forced its own words upon other tongues (cf. "hanbaga" is "hamburger" in Japanese,) and b) it's an adjective that comes AFTER the word it describes.
