My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OMG I HATE WRITING THESE THINGS YOU CANT SUM ME UP WITH A PROFILE I'M TOO COMPLEX!!! Just kidding. Like most people, I love filling this shit out. If I didn't I'd be on Grindr or something.

The best way I can sum myself up is to tell you that it wasn't until a few years ago that I actually realized that my all-time favourite show, Seinfeld, is about a bunch of cynical selfish misanthropes. I relate to the characters so much that I just always assumed their behaviour was completely normal and rational.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Music journo floating aimlessly through life, looking for love when I've had too much to drink, buying things online that I don't need and trying not to eat too much.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Laughing at super inappropriate things and being politically incorrect.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm skinny and always listening to music. Also, my humongous cock and billion dollar bank account.

The last two things are a total lie.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Like everybody on here that isn't currently an active bookworm, this is the part where I say I haven't been reading much but "I really should get back into it." If it helps you get an idea of my personality, here's what I read in the past year: an old Dolly Parton autobiography, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Battle Royale, and Nietzsche's Good & Evil.

Movies: I wouldn't call myself a cinephile since there's still so much I haven't seen yet, but I am really into movies. My favourite film-makers include Kubrick, Todd Solondz, and Wong Kar-wai. Without sounding pretentious (I hope) I love foreign films and arthouse, as well as horror movies, b-movies, and cult movies. Pretty much anything outside of modern Hollywood.

TV: Buffy and Angel, Seinfeld, Twin Peaks, Freaks & Geeks, The Comeback, Real Housewives of Anywhere, Mad Men, Kids In The Hall, Melrose Place, Adventure Time, The Regular Show, Louie, Daria, The X-Files, Web Therapy, Queer As Folk, and old-school The Simpsons (anything before season 11).

By the way, I hate Family Guy, Modern Family, SNL, and American late-night TV, so don't ever put any of them on if you invite me to hang out at your place or I'll shank you with a pencil.

Music: Everything. My taste is very broad, but to be a little specific my favourite singer is Fiona Apple and I'm obsessed with K-pop and J-pop.

Food: Chocolate and avocado.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Adventure Time
An extra pillow because I hate sleeping with just one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm constantly working, listening to music, or getting stoned to avoid having to think. That's the only way to block out the voice that tells me to kill.

I'm only kidding. Please don't close my profile!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
No comment. Next question!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a weird crush on Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond. Also, that I watch Everybody Loves Raymond.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have a good and/or fucked-up sense of humour and are after a new friend.

You're tall. I'm a damn mess when it comes to tall men.

You believe you could be the man of my dreams and you long to be inside me, both mentally and physically.

Don't message me if you're obsessed with your iPhone or if that Steve Jobs biography is listed as one of your favourite books. Also, no social justice warriors.
