I pretty much got on here on a lark. I'm currently single, and while finding someone to hang out with would be nice, I'll carry on either way.

What I’m doing with my life

Currently in school at University of Pittsburgh for pharmacy. I worked a few hours a week, but luckily I've been afforded the opportunity to focus on my studies as much as I need currently without needing to work 40 hours a week.
I also volunteer on the side for a gaming company which has let me travel all over the U.S. helping people have fun.

I’m really good at

not failing out of school, mental competitions (games, cards, etc.), and making people happy.

The first things people usually notice about me

that I'm relatively tall (6'3''), and then maybe my eyes? People say they're pretty awesome.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Know-it-All, Slaughterhouse Five, anything not involving studying
Movies: The Matrix, The Shawshank Redemption, Wall-E, Sin City
Music: I can listen to anything, but my most played Pandora stations are Parliament, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Maynard Ferguson.
Food: I'm not a picky eater, except for olives and raw onions.

The six things I could never do without

1. My inner circle of friends.
2. A Sharpie. For Sharpieing stuff.
3. The Internet. It just feels weird when I can't look up something like the key grip in 'Top Gun' within 10 minutes.
4. The desire to learn something new. Occasionally I'm abstract.
5. The number 5. (I have to come up with something better than that occasionally...)
6. My childhood stuffed animal. Cause I'm a sucker for childhood stuffed animals.

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing card games with some of my closest friends from college. Occasionally something else random too. Usually ends with half off somewhere in Oakland.

Usually the people I become most attracted to are the ones who are least accessible to me (there's my emo moment for the profile, minus the obligatory picture).
