Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Someone real, looking to inspire, be inspired, and find real
ME: Easy-going first, intense next. Well-traveled, educated,
thoughtful. Easy to smile, easy to laugh. Self-aware. Happy.
Conscious. Athletic. Resourceful. Graceful. Devil’s advocate.
Zesty. (Yep, I said zesty.)
YOU: Intelligent, kind, expressive, secure, enigmatic. Generous in
spirit and affection.
WE: Love our work but love our families and each other more; cook
together often; complement each others’ active lifestyle but round
it out with quiet time together and apart; understand that the
right relationship requires nurturing; minimize drama; manage to
maintain our own existing friendships and to gently merge our
social lives; challenge as well as inspire each other; find 'fun'
in mundane activities; become each others’ 'rock'; give back to the
community; explore together geographically, philosophically,
emotionally, sensually, gastronomically and intellectually; love
each other fiercely.
Want to turn me on? Show me you are kind and thoughtful and engaged
in your own reality; intentional in all aspects of your life (or at
least have consciously prioritized), surround yourself with amazing
friends, and have a healthy outlook on whatever in your past has
shaped you into the man you are today. Let’s explore/conquer today,
and do absolutely nothing (time well wasted!) tomorrow….or vice
versa…I don’t care.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Besides work: Tabata, Yoga, Tennis, Tango lessons [Profile update -
I've put Tango lessons on hold until I find my 'strong lead'],
recovering from my first triathlon, enjoying the beautiful hats and
scarves that a Chicago winter makes it possible to wear, spending
quality time with quality people - which usually involves red wine
and delicious food.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Baking and grilling. Homemade yummies always seem to brighten

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm often told that my laughter is distinctive and infectious.

Before it was taken off the air, my favorite Sunday morning
activity included staying in bed and listening to Acoustic Sunrise.
I love salty and sweet. Pandora radio. A hot coffee on a cold
morning. Seeing the sun rise when running on Lakeshore. (The payoff
for the early wake-up.) Campfire stories and s'mores. Patio
dining/socializing. The company of dear old friends; unexpected
chemistry with a new friend.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My next journey.
I've been lucky to have experienced some new horizons in the last
few years, traveling both solo and with friends. Exploring Alaska,
the Canadian Rockies, Glacier National Park, the U.K, Spain,
Portugal, Ireland, Yosemite, Grand Canyon (at a full moon), Zion
National Park, Bryce Canyon, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro,
Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Costa Rica, Oahu, and my most recent
trip was to play in the fluffy snow in Steamboat Springs, CO. The
complete list is long; this considers only the last few

...you are kind, well adjusted, know who you are and are secure in
yourself. You are expressive, enjoy the life that you have created,
make the best of situations, are intellectually involved and also
emotionally driven. You manage to graciously and simultaneously
embody being both driven and content. You have passions in your
life that you either want to share with me, or just expose me to.
You intentionally surround yourself with good people. Your most
proper/chaste kiss can take my breath away. You don't mind me
playing devil's advocate from all angles - and you give it back to
me as appropriate. You'll play 20 questions with me just because
it's fun. You are imperfect. And perfectly aware of it. You're some
or none of these things but get why I'd type this paragraph. Your
first email to me is more than 4 words and cleverly shows me that
you've read this far....
...and you should probably NOT message me if...I was past puberty
when you were born. While the attention from the younger set is
flattering, realistically, we're not looking for the same things
from each other.
