One thing I'd like to put out there right away is that I'm polyamorous. This is something I've discovered over the past year or so. I believe in honesty and that it's possible to have meaningful relationships with more than one person. This does not mean I'm a player or looking to just hook up with as many women as possible. That's not what it's about. I realize that many people object to polyamory relationships and that is fine. If it's not for you, that's your choice. So I just wanted to put that out there right away.
Still reading? Now the good stuff (well, that's again a matter of opinion).
I hate to use labels, but most people would consider me a geek. I like science fiction. I go to conventions and cosplay characters from Firefly, Doctor Who and The Avengers. I also get together with some friends and make short films. I've been learning quite a bit about the whole film making process and like to think I'm improving. I write, direct, act and edit. Many of the films we make we actually show to raise money for charity. So it's a fun hobby for a good cause.
But I hate labels because I have other interests that aren't neatly filed under the geek category. I like to go out and sing karaoke. I enjoy dancing. I work out on a regular basis. I actually like getting dressed up from time to time to go to a nice restaurant or event.
As for the regular stuff... I have a job, a car, a house and a cat.
I'm looking for fun people to spend time with. To have great conversations over sushi. To snuggle up on the couch and watch TV. Maybe play air hockey at Dave and Busters or walk around a flea market looking for odd items. Someone with whom I can experience things and the experience is better because of the company.
Well, that's all I have to say for the moment. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
