I'm pretty boring, but simultaneously entertaining. I'm in the process of Soul searching right now, if you would call it that. Im trying to discover:
1.) Myself. What I want/need/am willing to put up with/compromises im willing to make.
2.) Whether or not I should be trying to figure myself out all at once, or just go with whatever life throws at me.
I'm also in the process of being lazy, so I kinda procrastinate with the whole "searching for self identity" thing.(Guess I'm going with number 2 by default!)
I hate trying to "describe" or "explain" myself in a few choice words. I cant think of randomly important things to include that I feel would justifiably clarify who I am! So if you have specific questions, or wanna know more, ask.

Planing for the future, trying to like Iowa (*shudders*), studying and going to school for Psychology (pre-psych program right now, bigger things later). Recently realized that I have been in a 2 year community college for wayyyy to long, I need to get my shit together.

Recently gotten into: photography, Bass guitar (i've had for almost 3 years and its just sitting collecting dust), writing (again), painting (awfully). And by gotten into, i mean developed an interest, but not actually followed through with anything....thats how i roll.

Hanging with the few friends I have here, always willing to make more!

Slowly making myself get more interested in the typical "college life" everyone seems to revel in here. It's like if your not into that, your not doing anything. I hate it, but I need entertainment.

I'm pretty good at:
-Reading people and acting accordingly.
-Picking friends.
-Listening
-Being indecisive
-Writing (stories, ideas, whatever pops into my head in a lyrical way)
-Forming my own thoughts and opinions and not just rattling off the facts and quotes of others.
-Eating an entire package of oreos very, very quickly.
-Being the awkward person. Anywhere.
-Being that person my friends call when all other plans fall through the cracks. And they always end up having a kick ass time with me...bitches.

I'm Black! That's usually the first thing people notice...probably. Actually, i've been told I have a nice smile, but honestly, how the hell am I supposed to know what others notice ABOUT ME first and foremost? What did YOU notice?

Cant really pick favorite anything. Mostly cause I have a terrible memory and can't recall things a a specific time, also because favorite change with every breath....I can tell you what I like.

Food: Anything edible. Love Chinese, Mexican, Italian, Soul food, Shrimp/lobster/crab/crawfish. almost anything (i hate clams)

Music: I like R&B- Jill Scott, Adele, Amel Larreaux, Old school like Rachelle Farrelle and Anita Baker, ect..
Rock/Pop(some pop): Matchbox 20, 10 years, Atomship, Incubus, KINGS OF LEON, Pink, The script, Sunny Day Real Estate, Tegan & Sara, Toadies, Incubus, ect
Metal: DOWN, Superjoint Ritual, Minor Threat, Government Issue .....my brain just went dead on the metal bands I like, I've been on a bit of an R&B kick lately.
Do NOT like country: with the exception of older Shania Twain, (dont think I spelled her name correctly, sorry)

Love the show 6 Feet Under, Titus, Masters of Horror series, Dead Like Me, (sad they were all canceled), Scrubs, Dexter, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Prison Break. I love cartoons, Fairly Oddparents and Fosters Home were the shit!!!
I've been getting back into old Quote/Unquote HORROR/SCI-FI shows: The Twilight zone, Tales from the DarkSide, Night Gallery, ya know...those....

Movies: Comedy- CB4, Dont be a Menice...., Shreik If You Know What I Did Last Friday The Thirteenth, Zach and Miri, Pineapple Express, most Kevin Smith Movies, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, The Sweetest Thing, The Big Lebowski, Mel Brooks Movies, most parody movies {{before all those Disaster movies and Date movies and shit like that. Those are god awful. After the Wayne's brothers stopped, it all went to hell}} Nick and Nora's Infinant Playlist, Almost EVERY movie Michael Cera is in is watchable for me!!!
ANYONE that loves the movie CLUE with Tim Curry as much as I, I WILL MARRY!
I love those old Beach Party Movies, childhood memories with my mom I guess....
Dramas- Derailed, Imaginary Heros, Willy Wonka, Party Monster, Pay it Forward, (Almost anything with Helen Hunt) Crash, I Am Sam, Simon Burtch, Hard Candy, An American Crime, Mystic River, The Green Mile....mostly the depressing movies that make you cry and kinda make you wish you hadn't watched it....love those

I sleep with my tv on. I say its because of the background noise, but i really don't like sleeping in the dark
