My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really like bowling, film cameras, and bad karaoke. I like my cats way better than I like most people.

I make stuff all the time. I sell some of it on etsy, and sometimes I commit yarn graffiti. I don't knit. Lately I've been really into cutting up thrifted wool sweaters and sewing them into other things, like ridiculous twirly coats.

I take photos. I love medium format film and 35mm, too. I collect old, functional film cameras. Some of my favorites are very respectable machines and some are held together with velcro.

I'm currently living out of my Volvo, which offers me cheap rent and no contractual obligations. It's not so bad.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In the summer, I travel for work. In the winter, I scramble for work. I work a lot, but it's just my job. when i'm not working, i'm crafting. or thinking about what to make next. i am happiest when i'm making something. i fantasize about being able to sell my creations for a living.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
singing really badly.

growing armpit hair.

being totally creepy but getting away with it because i am adorable.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: mostly nonfiction, memoirs, and anything by Augusten Burroughs or Chuck Palahniuk. I also like books with more pictures than words: photography, art, patterns.

Movies: psychological thrillers, documentaries. I'm a sucker for really great chick-flicks, too, but I won't admit it. Sometimes I can't sit still so I haven't seen most movies, but I'm trying to get better. I'd be really down to watch a movie (any movie!), I just won't think of it first.

Shows: I don't have a tv or any of that fancy Netflix stuff. If I had cable, I'd watch shows about design and building and how things work and weird science stuff.

I do have the internet; my tv-on-the-internet viewing includes Mad Men, Breaking Bad, True Blood, and Californication. And I'm not ashamed to admit I regularly watch things like Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. I like design, art for the sake of art, and weird photography.

Music: i would rather go see your friend's band at a local venue than listen to popular radio, but i really can appreciate any genre.

Food: I have to eat because otherwise I'd die. I'm an omnivorous opportunitarian. I just don't eat gluten, spicy things, or coffee. I really like pad thai and sushi and chicken wings. i'm not much in the kitchen, but would be exceedingly happy to help you cook something, whether that means you delegate easy tasks to me like rinsing beans or you just want me to keep you company while i stay out of your way.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
i can do without most things.

in the material world:
1. my cats
2. not being sober
3. some creative outlet
4. the tao
5. teh intarwebz
6. lip balm

But not neccessarily in that order all the time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

crafty things and how can i repurpose this thing into something else?
On a typical Friday night I am

probably under the impression that it is Monday night because I tend to lose track of days.

i frequently have to consult urbandictionary to understand what the kids these days are saying. i am the oldest i've ever been.
