I am dedicated, thoughtful, and a tea lover.

My Self-Summary

My world still revolves around the school year. Instead of New Years being my big reflection point and changing point, I still tend to go with Labor Day.

What I’m doing with my life

The summer I spent traveling around the northern west coast, hiking with the dog and running so I can run a 10K. Next it will be time to enter career world again. I'm looking forward to it since I love what I do for a profession.

I’m really good at

following through with goals I set for myself, making random last minute recipes based on whatever is in the house, checking out five or six books from the library and finding at least one gem in the mix

The first things people usually notice about me

I tend to have an expressive face so people usually notice my mood.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Reading is one of my favorite activities so I have many books I love: Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner,The Cave by Jose Saramago,Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez,Cousin Bette by Honore De Balzac, Disgrace by J. M. Coetzee,Company of Liars by Karen Maitland. This year I really enjoyed the Hangover and I usually like movies where I can't exactly predict the end. Music wise it is a wide mix with Alternative being slightly dominant. Food wise I like a variety Greek, Mexican, Italian, Thai, Cuban and British pub food.

The six things I could never do without

1. My Dog
2. My good friends
3. My books
4. My iphone
5. My running shoes

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to maintain a more balanced life without letting work completely consume me?

On a typical Friday night I am

Out with friends or watching a movie at home.

You should message me if

I'll be honest here. I won't respond to anyone over 42 and I also pretty passionately hate cats. If either of those two things don't apply to you, or anything I wrote sounded interesting.
