I am intellectual, comprehensive, and liberal. I love Baseball, every thing about it. I love the sports page, in a newspaper, and a pencil and the box scores at breakfast. My wife and I practice ethical non-monogamy. We're not ready to embrace the typical labels such as polyamorous or polygamous, but we are both allowed to have relationships with other people with the full consent and blessing of the other. Open polyamory including a third (or even fourth) will probably come someday, but it would be rather hard to explain to my 80 year old mother in law who lives with us. We are definitely both looking for more people to love whether or not that involves cohabitation, not just booty calls. And we're kind of figuring out this ethical non-monogamy thing out as we go along thanks to the great documentation that exists about building your first poly relationships.
I quit smoking tobacco smoke several months ago but I still vape nicotine (among other things) and I doubt I shall ever quit. It doesn't smell, stain, or subject others to my second hand smoke.
I also do everything I can to minimize my carbon footprint, biking and using public transit extensively and driving (yes we've got a car) only when it is absolutely unavoidable. We are a "car lite" rather than a "car free" household. I'm more than you imagine and less than you fear.
