My self-summary
Life is an adventure. I'm looking for people to come adventuring with me and to take me adventuring with them. Let's go explore and create.

I love St. Louis. The longer I stay, the harder I fall.

I'm goofy, weird, and awkward; if you can't laugh at yourself or are easily embarrassed, you probably won't like me and that's OK. I'm passionate and usually quite forward, but I also love to listen and learn. I am greedy for experience and laughter and sunshine and cool nights and magical people, but I have learned to appreciate stillness and routine.

If your idea of a great way to approach me is to tell me I'm beautiful or simply say "what's up girl," please take the remainder of the time necessary to fully read my profile and step. Your. Game. Up.

I identify as queer, not quite bi, but there's no option for that. Lame. I'll put this near the top, so you might actually read it: not interested in a threesome. Move along.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to make the most of it. I think it's working.

I work for a small local non-profit and get to put my passion, creativity, and wild ideas to good use.

I'm on the board of SLLAW: St. Louis Lady Arm Wrestlers. Ladies' arm wrestling is sort of like burlesque and roller derby and late 80s WWF wrestling all in one. According to The Guardian: "Ladies' arm wrestling is difficult to categorize: an evening could be described equally as radical performance art, a burlesque variation on amateur boxing, or as a riot grrrl fundraiser with a costume competition attached." The good people with SLLAW think it's exactly the kind of Saturday night brouhaha St. Louis has been waiting for. So if you're into some awesome lady empowerment rolled into a big, theatrical hot mess of a production, let me know. All funds raised at these events go directly to local women's charities.
I’m really good at
Mixing drinks and decorating my apartment. Telling stories. Eating all of my vegetables. Mediating conflict. Cooking and baking. Day drinking. Saying no to pants. Being a feminist killjoy.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my tattoos. I also get a lot of comments on my smile, sense of style, and that I smell really good. I take up a lot of space - literally and figuratively - so also that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love food and I love making food for people I love. I'll try anything once, usually twice.

Music: I can't pin my tastes down to any particular style or genre. I really only listen to NPR and KDHX, so I have no idea what's supposed to be cool right now and I am fully aware that makes me sound like an asshole. I think The National has written some of the most heartbreakingly beautiful love songs and that I would have liked to be like Penny Lane (sadness and all). The Julie Ruin, MIA, MS MR, Bombino, and Bruiser Queen seem to be in constant rotation lately, as are Moondog and Jack White. I love live blues: the dirty, gritty stuff. Hot gypsy jazz has captured my fancy. I don't trust anyone who can sit still while listening to James Brown.

I love to read. Sometimes I have mini panic attacks because there are so many books and so little time. I can't pick a favorite, ever. I recently joined a YA book club and that's neat. It's not a book, but I love the Utne Reader. I really enjoyed the Song of Ice and Fire series and will hardcore nerd-out about it if you want. Harry Potter always and forever and ever amen. I enjoy a lot of non-fiction, too. Right now I'm reading some essays on Catholic theology from a feminist prospective.

There is a pretty good chance I haven't seen most of the movies you consider awesome, so don't be surprised when I say "oh, I haven't seen that, but I'd love to" because I really spend my alone time reading or painting or dancing and trying to memorize "Regulate" by Warren G. Other than that: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Closer, Almost Famous, Romeo + Juliet, Stop Making Sense, Pan's Labyrinth, The Departed, Star Wars IV-VI, O Brother Where Art Thou, Heathers.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I really enjoy Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The X Files, OITNB (!!), and I'm pumped about Coven, because my ultimate goal in life is to make all of my neighbors assume I am a witch. And also possibly be a witch. Oh, I am a dedicated member of the Leslie Knope fan club. If it's a political or crime drama, I'll probably like it.
The six things I could never do without
My family. Ice cubes. Pizza. Cardigans. NPR. Coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can make the world a better place. Feminism as more than just white ladies fighting for the right to choose. The politics of privilege. Fucking with the status quo. How there are so many really pretty things and how I can make them mine via some creativity and DIY skills. Becoming a supervillain.
On a typical Friday night I am
Unwinding from the past week, whether that's at home alone, at home with a few people, or out with friends grabbing a drink or two.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Lil Wayne's voice makes me want to take my clothes off. This concerns me.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 23–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
you're into passionate, eccentric, and slightly neurotic ladies. If you'd like a friend to explore with. If you'd like to start a girl gang with me.

Also, please let me know if you are interested in SLLAW. We are looking for:
Performers
Emcee's
Referee's
Stage hands/Behind the scene players
Security
Promoters (merch, photogs, video people, web design, PR, groupies, etc)
FEMINISTS

Performers are limited to self-identifying females, however, those who are male-identified are welcome to fill any other positions.

Seriously. You wanna get in on this. Trust me.
