My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Life is an adventure. I'm looking for people to come adventuring with me and to take me adventuring with them. Let's go explore and create.

I love St. Louis. The longer I stay, the harder I fall.

I'm goofy, weird, and awkward. You'll need a sense of humor and an open mind. I'm passionate and usually quite forward, but I also love to listen and learn. I am greedy for experience and laughter and sunshine and cool nights and magical people, but I have learned to appreciate stillness and routine.

I identify as queer, which for me means that I date men, women, nonbinary, and genderfluid people. This does not mean that I am interested in random group sex. I'm also not "just confused."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently married to the movement. I know more about walkie talkies, pepper spray, google docs, bail bonds, and all the ways to reheat coffee than I ever thought I would.

I work for a small local non-profit and get to put my passion, creativity, and wild ideas to good use.

I'm trying to ride bikes a lot more.

I'm getting my Masters while working full time and life is exactly as hectic as it sounds. I don't have a lot of time for dating, but I'd like to make some, especially if the right person(s) come along.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Mixing drinks and decorating my apartment. Telling stories. Eating all of my vegetables. Mediating conflict. Cooking and baking. Saying no to pants. Being a feminist killjoy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my tattoos. I also get a lot of comments on my smile, sense of style, and that I smell really good.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love food and I love making food for people I love. I'll try anything once, usually twice. I host a monthly choose-your-own-adventure supper club and it's really fun.

Music: I can't pin my tastes down to any particular style or genre. I really only listen to NPR and KDHX, so I have no idea what's supposed to be cool right now and I am fully aware that makes me sound like an asshole. I don't trust anyone who can sit still while listening to James Brown.

I love to read. Sometimes I have mini panic attacks because there are so many books and so little time. I can't pick a favorite, ever. I recently joined a YA book club and that's neat. It's not a book, but I love the Utne Reader. I really enjoyed the Song of Ice and Fire series and will hardcore nerd-out about it if you want. Harry Potter always and forever and ever amen. I enjoy a lot of non-fiction, too. Right now I'm reading some essays on Catholic theology from a feminist prospective. Biographies are fascinating. My favorite so far has been Priscilla Presley.

There is a pretty good chance I haven't seen most of the movies you consider awesome, so don't be surprised when I say "oh, I haven't seen that, but I'd love to." Things that come to mind: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Closer, Almost Famous, Romeo + Juliet, Stop Making Sense, Pan's Labyrinth, The Departed, Star Wars IV-VI, Francis Ha, O Brother Where Art Thou, Heathers, Gone with the Wind.

I don't have cable and haven't for many years, but I really loved The Food Network and HGTV. I really enjoy Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The X Files, OITNB, House of Cards, and American Horror Story. Oh, I am a dedicated member of the Leslie Knope fan club. If it's a political or crime drama, I'll probably like it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family. Ice cubes. Pizza. Cardigans. NPR. Coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can make the world a better place. Community. Feminism as more than just white ladies fighting for the right to choose. The politics of privilege. Fucking with the status quo. Colors. Becoming a supervillain.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unwinding from the past week, whether that's at home alone, at home with a few people, or out with friends grabbing a drink or two. On first Fridays I do Freedom School-style film screenings.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Lil Wayne's voice makes me want to take my clothes off. This concerns me.

I have Beyoncé's Super Bowl performance bookmarked on all of my electronic devices.

My ultimate goal in life is to make all of my neighbors assume I am a witch. And also possibly be a witch.

you're into passionate, eccentric, and slightly neurotic ladies. If you'd like a friend to explore with. If you want to ride bikes or go for a walk. If you're open to being challenged. If you wanna be my activist bae.
