My self-summary
Hi. I'm a very happily married nerdy bi guy, with a strange imagination & a love of novelty. I love kissing, reading comic books, and staring wistfully at trees. I also love to cook, and am currently trying to learn how to grow as much of my own food as possible. Yay for dirty fingernails!

I've got a fourish/fivish year old daughter (depending on when you read this), who is smarter, faster, and more attractive than me. I'm pretty much doomed. She'll eat us all alive, and go back for seconds. I've also got a remarkably sweet one-and-half-ish son. He's a real peach so far. But they're not kidding when they say two is significantly more intense than one. Damn, dude.

I guess I'm looking for people to chat with, the occasional boy to make out with, or maybe neat boys/girls who want to hang/play with a kickass pervy couple. We're both bi, and all over the map sexually so feel free to make any old weird proposition you'd like. If you want to check out her profile, you can see her at curiousnebula.

Boys, I should warn you... I tend to be kind of picky when it comes to men. I'm sexually attracted to men, but I tend to be able to relate to women better. That being said, please don't hold back from reaching out. Especially if you like the idea of making out with a couple.

I am wisecracking, happy, and flexibly perverse
What I’m doing with my life
Profesionally? I work as a trained office monkey at a company you've probably heard of.

Personally? In no particular order and by no means limited to... Chasing my daughter, being chased by my daughter, working in the garden, reading constantly, loving on my wife, gazing wistfully in loving adoration at my son, sticking it to the Man, smoking pot, half-assedly blogging (infiniteteatime.blogspot.com), doubting the big doubts, watching BBC series on dvd, and picturing you naked.

Plus, I have some very nifty friends. I like seeing them a lot too.
I’m really good at
making people laugh, cooking, kissing, fucking, recalling bizarrely minute pieces of trivia, and being a dad. I'm a more than capable masseuse, but I'm sometimes finicky about giving massages. Not really sure why. And I will take you to school in Mancala. I once was able to play Mancala with my eyes closed for like 8 moves in a row, and still win. It's kind of creepy, actually.

One thing I'm not particularly good at, but would like to get better at is blogging regularly. I've been trying to be better about it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have kinda floppy hair. And I smile a lot. Oh, and currently I have sideburns. They're kinda striking.

Sometimes I grow ironic mustaches, but they usually don't last long. I get tired of sleeping on the couch.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Words: I'm a big sci fi fiend. I tend to find an author I like and read everything they've written. I'm a big fan of Iain Banks, Vernor Vinge, Charles Stross, China Mieville, Karl Schroeder, Neil Stephenson, Douglas Adams, Kim Stanley Robinson, Warren Ellis, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Robert Anton Wilson, Tim Leary, Steph Swainston, and pretty much any other author that offers "big ideas". I like fiction that fills me with wonder.

Moving Pictures: I don't really watch very many movies anymore. I used to be a movie nut, but now I tend to prefer to watch series on dvd. I prefer longer narrative arcs, and movies don't really seem to be able to go deep enough for my tastes most the time. Some favorites though are Ghost Dog, Raising Arizona, Fight Club, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and Repo Man. Series wise, we really enjoy Arrested Development, Big Love, Battlestar, Heroes, Lost, Torchwood, Rome, Carnivale, and Weeds.

Pretty Sounds: I'm a heavy KEXP listener. I grew up on punk rock, and love early glam/punk. Stuff currently on my non-denominational MP3 player includes the Clash, the Magnetic Fields, Mclusky, Blackbird Raum, David Bowie, the New York Dolls, the Thermals, Gogol Bordello, Hole, Thee Headcoats, The Misfits, The Mountain Goats, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Future of the Left, Nation of Ulysses, The Beach Boys, and The Flesh Eaters. But I love old country, and new hip-hop, and Tuvan throat singing (Huun-Huur-Tu, yo!), and lots of other things. I've worked up some pretty sweet channels on Pandora as well, focusing mostly on psychedelic rock, early garage, and horror movie themed bands. So let me know if you're interested in hearing anything, and I'll send you the info.

Comestibles: Food. I like to eat it. I like to cook it. I'm not very picky.
The six things I could never do without
my family, good books, fire, trees, the occasional intoxicant, and friends.

That's why barbecues are my favorite social outlet. They cover the family, fire, friends, intoxicants, and trees.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
building a passive solar house, cob houses, winning the Mega Millions, and terraforming Mars.

I'm also a big fan of parts of the human body that sound like places you would quest to in bad fantasy novels. The Islets of Langerhans... The Hillocks of Hiss. God, I love that shit!
On a typical Friday night I am
Cooking dinner for my family, putting my daughter down for sleep, and then watching television series on dvd with my wife until I collapse in a heap. I know you just want a piece of that action!

Saturday's are usually quite a bit more lively though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I totally <3 compost!

Also, if you want something more salacious... Cheetara on the Thundercats was the first crush I ever had, that I knew what was going on. It was the first time I realized what that tingly feeling meant.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi guys
  • Ages 19–58
  • Near me
  • For new friends, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
If you own a bow and arrow. One of my goals in life, that I've not yet fulfilled, is to shoot an arrow into a pumpkin. A crossbow might be cool too, but really, I'd like to shoot a pumpkin with an arrow.

Also, if you like the idea of meeting new people in the format of a back yard bbq. The kind of barbecue where the kids get hopped up on watermelon, and the adults get hopped up on hops and hop. Bocci ball is encouraged, political grandstanding is not discouraged, and banjos score extra points. Seriously, if you're the kind of person who spontaneously juggles or plays acoustic punk ballads or throat sings for no reason, I'd love if you came to my barbecues.

Also, if you think anything I said on here, or on my blog (again, that's infiniteteatime.blogspot.com) sounds interesting. Or if you want to smoke pot, watch porn, and make out. And if you like kick-ass couples. And definitely, DEFINITELY message me if you've ever wanted to be a naughty babysitter! We've always joked about finding a nice girl, who's good with kids and would be able to watch our daughter while we're at a movie. And then will let us do terribly naughty things when we get home. :)

Oh, one bit of persnicketyness... If you're a dude that lists himself as straight, but you think you might be "curious", or you want to cyber, or get a hummer in your car on the way to work... please don't bother messaging me. Have the decency, and courage to list yourself as bi. And don't assume that just because we're both married, and like dudes cocks that I'm going to help you cheat on your wife. I've done the "have sex with closet cases" and I can tell you, it's pretty awful. If you can't even come out on the internet, you don't get to come in my bedroom.
