I am humorous, atheist, and passive.

My Self-Summary

Take my quiz!

I'm a very laid back, fun-loving, atheist, liberal, semi-hippy chick. I'm living in Flatbush at the moment (not where I want to be, btw). I moved to NY to start my career in graphic design, but because the economy sucks right now, I'm not having any luck in that department. So, I'm working at Macy's in the Visual Merchandising dept., which is actually pretty cool. I mean, who could complain about undressing ripped mannequins all day?

I love music and movies, I could not live without either. Also, I am a HUGE Family Guy fan. If I could only watch one show for the rest of my life, that would be it. My friends know, I can relate any every day instance to a Family Guy quote. My movie and music choices are rather eclectic, I couldn't say I prefer any one genre to the other, though I have my favorites (see below).

A few side notes: I've NEVER been described as normal, in fact, I'm quite frequently told the exact opposite. I'm a stickler for grammar, spelling and pronunciation. I cry more for animals dying in films than I do for humans. I have a "strange but charming" sense of humor. I'm a firm believer of stoner logic (though I don't get to smoke much anymore). I believe in love and peace. I think about religion. A lot. But only because the idea of it fascinates me. But I don't believe in a god/gods or organized religion. And I think that if everyone took the time out to smoke a doobie every now and then, the world would be a better place.

What I’m doing with my life

For a long time, music was my passion. I spent eight years in band, and got very into the whole band scene. However, the drama surrounding band changed my views and instead I chose to do graphic design when I got to college. So now, I'm trying to get the gears moving on my GD career. Eventually I want to own my own design studio, but that won't be for a while.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh. Cooking/baking. Listening.

The first things people usually notice about me

My sense of humor. My last name (it's Twigger). My boobs (they're kind of big ;D).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Tolkien, Laurell K. Hamilton, Edgar Allan Poe, Bret Easton Ellis, Phillip K. Dick, Kurt Vonnegut, Dean Koontz, Fight Club, Harry Potter, really any fantasy/sci-fi, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Candide, The Secret Garden, the Halo series, Lord of the Flies, White Oleander, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Art of Racing in the Rain

Movies: A Clockwork Orange (well, Kubrick in general, but that's my fave), Star Wars (4-6, not really a huge fan of 1-3), American Psycho, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson, Tim Burton, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Disney, Grandma's Boy, zombie flicks, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potters 3 & 5, Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Pride & Prejudice (the newest one), romantic comedies (cause at the end of the day, I'm a girl.), anything with Johnny Depp, Bruce Willis, or Orlando Bloom (I know, I know, he's not a great actor, but he's damn fine to look at), The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride, The Ten, Pineapple Express

Music: Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Weezer, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Muse, Alice in Chains, Bush, Foo Fighters, Hole, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Mates of State, Hans Zimmer, Soundgarden, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Korn, Marilyn Manson, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, White/Rob Zombie, Brand New, Busta Rhymes (his older stuff is better), Bone Thugs & Harmony, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Notorious BIG, Wu-tang Clan, Immortal Technique, Lil Wayne, Paul van Dyk, Cascada, Basement Jaxx, Paul Oakenfeld, Massive Attack, Bjork, Mariah Carey, Prince, 80s music...I could really just go on all day, the point is, I like A LOT of music.

Food: Chicken cacciatore, potatoes (almost any form, I'm freakin' Scottish. What else would you expect?), Italian, Chinese, cheeseburgers, and fruit (particularly oranges, strawberries, apples and raspberries)

And because they don't have this category on here, but I feel like I should mention it cause it's kind of a big deal to me...Games: HALO! (No seriously, I love this game, I have a fantasy involving a guy wearing a Master Chief helmet while having sex with me), Zelda, Final Fantasy (particularly IV, VII, and VIII), The Sims, Sim City, board games, poker, backgammon, and sudoku

The six things I could never do without

Family, great friends, my laptop, good food, music, and movies.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

religion, politics, good movie/book plots, my strange dreams, my future, my past, my present...pretty much everything. I have a very active and imaginative mind.

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't have a typical Friday night. Isn't that the point of being spontaneous?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

See above entry about games, particularly the specific mention of Master Chief...

You should message me if

You like what you're reading, whether to be a friend or more. Or if you have a Master Chief helmet and a ripped, awesome body.
