I am fun, entertaining, and snarky.

My Self-Summary

I'm a pretty easy-going person who enjoys the normal and random parts of life. I have a teasing personality and seem very silly at first, but that's just a cover for my seriousness and shyness. I'm really work-driven but I absolutely love it when my friends pry me away from work and we go on a spontaneous road trip or errand run. The best times I've had were when my friends and I got distracted and ended up just poking around old buildings or with our feet in the fountain.

I'm at my norm sweet and I'll try anything to make someone smile and love to make those around me happy, hence the reputation as the occasional clown. I have absolutely no shame, I will usually say or do whatever comes to mind, hence the reputation for being silly. I'm completely out, home and work. I'm just really enjoying life right now and all it has to offer.

I'm not fond of drama at all. I get enough of that in life already so I'd like to date and hopefully eventually move forward with someone who is pretty balanced. I really love having discussions and an intellectual makes me weak in the knees.

New pictures coming soon! I've gown my hair back out (sorry femmes, if you were looking for a more butchy girl, I'm actually a good mixture of butch/ femme and love both femmes and butches) and it's gone a nice shade of red now. I have yearly cycles with short hair and long hair, all different colors, so it's hard to keep my photos updated.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm back in grad school now working towards getting my MBA. Looking forward to graduating soon and hopefully moving out to New Mexico. At least that's the plan right now, I don't know how I'll feel in a year.

I’m really good at

I sculpt, sing, even dance sometimes when I feel like it. Music is a big part of my life, I've played various instruments for years. I'm good at massage, talking, making movies, reading maps, and many other random things.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and my smile, and my laugh, which I do often and loudly. I love to laugh. Also the fact that I tend to speak before I think, and that gets me into so much trouble you'd think I'd have learned by now to shut up.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A) The Outlander series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and all parts, Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Great Expectations, Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings, anything by Paulo Coehlo, Stranger in a Strange Land, Watchmen, The Count of Monte Cristo, Mrs. Dalloway, Sandman, Ananasi Boys, Fragile Things, and most anything by Neil Gaiman.

B) Movies..I love action flicks. If something blows up or there is an awesome car chase, then I'm there. Also I really like comedies and Kung Fu movies. I'm an avid supporter of our local independent movie house.

C) I love all kinds of music, from rap to country to hard rock to opera to blues to classical to anything I hear. I love music. And string instruments, I love to listen to string music, especially the cello. Listening to the cello play does wonderful things to me. Favorite artists include: Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Greenday, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Billy Idol, Janis Joplin, Billy Joel, and so many more that I can't think of right now.

D) Food wise, I like all kinds of styles like indian, italian, german, scottish (I even like haggis and blood sausage), thai, sushi, greek, american, etc. I like to try different things.

The six things I could never do without

Order means nothing, it's just the order I thought of them.
1. My car- I am totally dependent on it. I love being able to go to work or school without bumming a ride.
2. My iPod- Oh yes, I love Apple.
3. My cats - I have two, both girls, and they are two of my favorite creatures.
4. My books- I love books. I want to start collecting and build a library in my house.
5. My computer- I use it for so much, I'd be lost without it.
6. My family and friends- I love these people, they rock hard.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What else but the future. I couldn't stop plotting it I tried.

My stories. I write and my characters tend to make a fuss if I go to long without giving them an outlet.

On a typical Friday night I am

It's hard to say, sometimes at home and sometimes on the road. Depends on who I share it with.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like musicals. I know, they're just fluff, but they make me so happy.

You should message me if

You'd like to go out sometime and have some fun. I like meeting new people all the time, especially snarky ones. Pick your poison, my AIM is twistedfire12 and my yahoo is laraine_drama_queen@yahoo.com. I don't spend as much time on the computer as I used to, so email really is the best way to reach me. Send an email to laraine_drama_queen@yahoo.com if you'd like to get to know me better. I communicate so much through text messages now, so if we hit it off you'll get my digits.
