My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So kind of you to drop by,

I am a native of NYC. Rather than proud, I just feel lucky to have been born, raised and still living in such an amazing city. I do like to wander, whether its the streets of my city or the jungle. I have hiked up mountain peaks from Venezuela to Vietnam. I've explored ancient temples and pyramids from Bali to Guatemala. I've swam with sharks in the Galapagos Islands, hand fed pink river dolphins in the Brasilian Amazon and had an anaconda slip right through my hands in Bolivia.

When not off on some adventure around the globe, I like going to museums, parks, tea houses, green markets and ethnic restaurants. Very few people know their way around the boroughs like I do. I even know the location of those hidden waterfalls in Central Park. I also enjoy concerts, sporting events, going to the movies and just being out and about. I live my life like it is an adventure even when hanging around in my own city.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in special investigations. Pressure, stress but most days I actually like doing my job.

Enjoying the winter. I like it cold and I like snow. You won't hear me complaining about the weather until the summer heat comes. And even, I just deal with it and don't whine.

When home, watching a lot of hockey and soccer (football). And I'm reading a really good book about how the South China Sea could be the next part of the world in chaos.

I might be visiting that masterpiece of a profile you created on here.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Science, math, geography, reading maps, my job, pushing myself physically and I can also run really fast. Once, I chased down a horse and caught her just before she entered a busy intersection and certain doom. I love animals and I really don't care if many people think I am an idiot for risking my life to save a horse.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm white. I helped you out with that one. Also, I'm left handed so please sit on my right side when were having dinner, hehe. Oh a big dog often weighs more than I do.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Animals, mountains, forests, fruits, a Kindle Fire and a passport. I would have put my parents and sisters on the list but calling them just things didn't sound right.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
North Korea, Myanmar, Afghanistan, Palestine, Syria, the Congo, Somalia, Haiti, Native American reservations and anywhere that people struggle mightily. The coming Asian century, terrorism, animals and endangered animals, sustainable development, habitat loss and where to take my next vacation abroad.

Old Navy actually has a line of clothing called "Boyfriend Jeans". That is about as lame as One Direction's lyrics. As if it wasn't bad enough that Old Navy and its parent company the Gap pays its overseas workers absurdly low salaries and makes them work long hours. And it pushes sex on young girls with clothes that you might not mind seeing on Beyonce but you certainly don't want to see them on your 12 year old daughter.

Yesterday morning, at least 15 minutes on MSNBC was devoted to a "controversy" over how black women wear their hair. I flipped over to the BBC and in 15 minutes, they covered the 50th anniversary of Singapore, an opposition leader killed in Russia, the controversial visit of the Israeli Prime Minister and an oil pipeline in the USA. The next time you see one of those surveys about how little Americans know about the world around them, you can blame the dopes that took the survey and the educational system that failed to educate and also inspire them to learn. And you can also blame the media in America for stories about black women's hair and dress colors instead of what's really going on in America and the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. I often have to work the streets late into the evening and no...I'm not a hooker. If I don't have to work late, well a hockey game, a football (soccer) match, a movie or just going out to eat will do.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Shy. So if I didn't write you, that's probably why. And the chances of you writing back aren't good anyway. I sometimes laugh at my own jokes. Hey, someone has to do it.

I am still not clear on what a Shiny Happy Person is or just what a Hollaback Girl might be.
