I am smart, witty, and damn fun..

My Self-Summary

I am a nice guy. This does not serve me as well as you might think. I can be your friend and the one you want to confide in. Just don't think of me as your brother, and I can only tolerate hearing about your Unemployed Outlaw Biker boyfriend that treats you like crap for so long. I want you to be happy. Doesn't that make me way better than him?? Oh and if it will help, I can get arrested, get some tattoos, maybe some weird piercings. Whatever. You know me, I'm here for you.

I have been thinking of getting a pet. I have not had any in quite a while. I have decided that when a pet that does not go to the bathroom (or does it on their own) becomes available, that is when I will get one again. I think a hermit crab is probably the closest thing to that now. They don't really get very excited when you get home though. Plus, going to the park to pick up women walking my hermit crab probably isn't going to work so. I mean, what women wouldn't see through THAT trick?

Basically, I am a realist, masquerading as a cynic, who is secretly an optimist.

What I’m doing with my life

Preparing for prison. Did that work? Are you more interested now? If I am unemployed and want to crash on your couch will that help? Need to work on my "rebel-I'm-too-cool-for-this-place" image a bit still. I also seem to be coming up with more and more things that I want to do "with a signifigant other". My list is getting pretty long, so email me already!

I’m really good at

Listening.

Cuddling.

Being like everyone else and fiddling with my phone when I don't know what else to do (what did we EVER do at airports before Blackberrys/iPhones?).

Roaming Toys R Us and being really bummed I am not 14.

Roaming Best Buy and being glad I have a job and am NOT 14.

Roaming Carmax and wishing I had a better paying job.

Of course, after I am out of prison, I will be good at being "The Bad Boy"!

The first things people usually notice about me

My deep blue eyes that see something within them, hinting playfully, suggesting--who knows--something risky; something intimate; something unexpected. Well, that is what they SHOULD notice anyway.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Adventure, and a little bit of everything else. I am the type of person that when I start reading a great book, I stay up 36 hours and read the entire thing. Working the next day can be interesting.

Movies: I love movies. Donnie Darko, Caddyshack, The Hangover and UP are some of my favorites, and I like almost anything with John Cusack. I’ll admit, I’m a sucker for the movie Love Actually…There’s nothing wrong with a romantic comedy every once and a while.

TV: Weeds, True Blood, Rescue Me, How I met Your Mother, Dexter, etc. I have a DVR, so I watch a fair amount of TV, but cutting through all the commercials makes it take a lot less time.

Music: I love the music my friends refer to as “Bubble Gum Pop” (Lots of British groups, Top 40, etc) but my taste in music is pretty eclectic.

Food: I am a bit of a picky eater. If you like it, there’s a good chance I don’t. But don’t worry, we will work around that!

The six things I could never do without

1. My friends and family
2. My car
3. My job
4. Travel
5. The internet
6. Diet Dr. Pepper

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How the choices I have made have brought me to where I am. What is ahead, and who will be involved in my life at the time. Past relationships and people and how things might be different with just a different word, or event, or conversation. And if I left the iron on...

On a typical Friday night I am

Widening my mind with interesting and stimulating new experiences that broaden my view of the world, as well as make me respect nature, science, and just the overall awe of life. Or, at a movie or somewhere with friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. A problem really, I keep getting stuff spilled on it.

You should message me if

If you made it to here in my profile...that means you at least enjoyed the read. Why not enjoy some conversation as well? Get to know me, it will be rewarding for both of us.
