Seeing Someone
Relationship Type
Mostly monogamous
5' 10" (1.78m)
Body Type
Used up
Atheism and laughing about it
Doesn’t have kids and doesn’t want them
English (Fluently)
My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to do cool stuff. Alone or with cool people, it's all good.

Feel as though I should mention that "Drugs: Often" is virtually always cannabis.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in financial/business analysis, and looking to become a chartered management accountant. I'm probably more fun than that sounds.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Picking up stuff, moving it around a bit and then putting it down. This is probably my chief pastime.

But I wouldn't say really good. I'm okay.

Microsoft Excel. The least cool aptitude? But if you want someone to explain the workings of INDEX/MATCH formulas to you, perhaps just how to VLOOKUP, or some really sick and nasty stuff (my limit is fairly underwhelming UDFs), you are in luck!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hopefully my boyish good looks or generally sunny demeanour. But I'm not sure. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to let me know one day, because I'm curious about what kind of first impression I give off (probably terrible).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Vonnegut, Camus, Pynchon, Nabokov, McCarthy, JG Ballard, Philip K Dick, Atwood, Gibson.

8 1/2, Pierrot le Fou, Alien, Chinatown, Dr. Strangelove, The Thing, Blade Runner, Videodrome, Dawn of the Dead (1978).

The Wire, Mad Men, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Brass Eye, Deadwood, House of Cards, True Detective, Orange is the New Black. Pretty much anything HBO.

Keep coming back to The Beatles, Frank Zappa, The Smiths (Moz is an insufferable prick though), Tom Waits. Other stuff rotates through.

I'll eat (or at least try, but probably eat) the vast majority of things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Weight training
Marijuana (I mean I could but eh)
Tea (huge mug, two sweeteners, dash of milk, ta)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics and economics, how annoying it is that my glasses keep riding down my nose, size acceptance and body politics (body policing is gross and fat women are gorgeous), intersectional feminism (woefully under-educated, though), whether my hair looks goofy or not (when I have a decent amount of it), how often it's acceptable to post photos of your lunch online, how long it'll take before I can list my body type as 'Jacked' with a feeling of righteousness rather than dishonesty, how to reform or destroy capitalism.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out at pubs/bars with my rowdy friends, or at home, probably playing video games, probably a bit stoned.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was younger I used to snorkel in the bath. It was pretty great.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think I sound like someone you'd like to talk to.

NB: No Nasty Party ideologues, neoliberals, objectivists (Rand), right-libertarians (lefties very much welcome), transphobes, xenophobes, fatphobes, general body police, anti-feminists, MRAs or people with similarly objectionable views please. Let's not waste anyone's time and also you are scum.
