My self-summary
It’s really easy to make me laugh by accident and pretty hard if it’s intentional, for example, falling down. I prefer morning for work and evening for play. I like to say I’m in alignment with the sun. If I give you a compliment, I mean it. I tend to show the most emotion when I watch sad movies. The smallest thing can provoke the largest and jolliest reaction from me (or the scariest), while the bigger things in life usually leave me unfazed. I like to acknowledge that most things are entirely out of my control (bigger picture) but that I can maintain complete control of my own comfort and satisfaction. It’s really difficult for me to make plans far in advance (and by far, that could mean tonight). I like to make decisions in the moment and cannot predict what I will feel like doing at some future given time. This makes me a terrible packer. Don’t mistake this possible flaw for being uncommitted because I am extremely reliable and trustworthy, if you make it to that level.

I’m pretty aware of who I am and what I am not.

I truly enjoy being alone with myself. I also truly enjoy really good company. I don’t think bad company needs any disclaimer here…
I’m really good at
I’m really good at asking questions. As someone wise in my family once said, “You’re only as smart as you are stupid". I have this uncontrollable need to look up the definition of any word that is new to me, strikes my interest, or is even super common and just used in an unfamiliar way. That being said, I hate to write and that is why I work with numbers.

I like puzzles. I also like to solve puzzles. So I do that a lot.

I like to think I’m good at “healthy cooking”, juicing, and baking, but I know there are a lot of cool tricks still to learn. I’m really good at daydreaming but really terrible at being bored. I’m really good at saying no (but don’t worry, that just means my “yeses” mean that much more!). I can do most tasks 10x more efficiently and quickly than most people, sometimes resembling a tornado. And I’m really good at cleaning.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably not much apart from this photograph you see here. It usually takes me a while to warm up to people before someone can get a good idea of who I am. I make no apologies for myself, and am honest to the core. It takes time to really show your true colors (however bright or dark they may be).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I’m not a fan of favorites. I think it is pretty cruel and unusual to make a person commit to one specific preference for all eternity. You say it once and it follows you around perpetually. Like the poor third-grader who once confessed their love for neon green and tree frogs (no, I won’t admit that was me).

Anyway, I’ll give you a few of the things I like right now at this very moment, subject to change:

Books – I’d be lying if I didn’t say Harry Potter. But I love to read, so I’m going to go with…whatever I’m reading.
Movies – Marie Antoinette
Shows – Curb Your Enthusiasm, Sunday night HBO, the trendy shows, and most things on Bravo. I indulge in bad television.
Music – Let me hear it and I’ll tell you yes or no.
Food – Grass. (and pickles!)
The six things I could never do without
A dictionary
The most comfortable bed in the world, or my world at least
Moisturizer
Quiet
Water
Cashmere
A puzzle

(I’m hoping no one here can count)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
thinking, or lack thereof.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully I’m at happy hour or having a happy hour (get your mind out of the gutter).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Probably the cheesiest I ever could and will be, but my 2012 new year’s resolution is to make new friends. Yeah, yeah, they had it right back in pre-kindergarten.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 25–32
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
If you can read my dry humor and better yet play along, please entertain me.

Also, if you are not into long phone conversations, I’m your girl. Half a conversation is physical. UPDATE: I tried to pretend like I didn't mind communicating through technological medium(s), but I'm really not that good at keeping up with it. So let's keep it short. If you like me, ask me out, it's that simple gents.

Friendly tip: For a good conversation, please refrain from topics regarding football, basketball, baseball, or anything that ends in “ball”. Unless it’s foosball.
