My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm T.J. I moved to Chicago from Florida a year ago and couldn't be happier. I called my friend that lived here and told him I was moving. Less than a month later I was on a train (30 hours over two nights... I don't know if I'd do it again) and here in the city.

I like to be easy going but can be a bit much to deal with if I get stressed out. I usually will calm down after some champagne or a night out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently started a job as a mental health specialist at a psychiatric hospital and am really happy. I've waited a while to use my degree and now all those hours are paying off.

I start grad school this fall to obtain my MSW so I can go even further with social work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, cooking and dancing.

Also good at just being a shoulder to cry on and someone to vent to. I know when someone is looking for advice on a situation, or just wants to have someone hear their thoughts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes or something I'm wearing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: perks if being a wallflower, the help, scarlet letter, books that help give me a new perspective on human life, and always open to more books to read.

Movies: the devil wears prada, mean girls, bridegroom (it was really great)

TV shows: parks and recreation, American horror story, modern family

Music: top 40 is my usual go to. Working at my store I have gained a lot of 80's music is my repertoire. That and just completely awkward tastes.

Food: I love chicken. My grandmother taught me to cook, and I lived with an American Italian family for a year. I can make some great spaghetti and meatballs. I want to try a lot of foods, and have the ability living in this city.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends
2. Champagne
3. Language
4. Literacy
5. Ability to laugh at myself
6. Someone to share my experiences with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why the cta has the astounding ability to get me somewhere really fast when I had time to kill or it goes really slow when I need to be somewhere soon. I guess also if it's okay to sit in the seat everyone else seems to avoid.

I also think about how much the girls I work with at the hospital are going to throw at me. They can be a handful, but I do love working with them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Saving the world... But don't tell anyone

I recently started going to the gym to bulk up a bit. So I usually head there after work. I'm finding it's a great stress reliever after a long day at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I give out one star on quick match like it's candy. If you got 4 or 5, you're not in the majority.

While I don't decide who to date based on hair color, there's something about red heads I find very attractive.
