My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I fall a bit on both sides of the fence. Art is probably the most important part of my life up to this point, but I have a career and job I love. I can talk about art (especially music) for hours and want to find someone else who would enjoy doing the same.

I write. I play music. I play soccer. I'm an engineer. I make cocktails.

I take what I'm passionate about very seriously but I don't take myself that seriously.

I am way into soccer. Go gunners and sounders!

I like to work hard when I'm in the zone, but I'm really laid back when I'm not (concerts, music festivals, bars, chilling in the sun). Sarcastic and always making a joke.

I'm also very empathetic and think equality is important.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Software engineer at the best company ever (I love my job), and I put a full to part-time amount of work into art on the side. Not counting on it taking off or anything, I just love doing it.

I also enjoy running, skiing, tennis, playing soccer, or really anything that gets me outside. I kind of go through this natural cycle in Seattle where I get outside a lot during the summer and work a lot harder at my job and on my art when the weather turns.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Chilling tough
Vinyl collecting
Getting lost in some creative endeavor
Mixing a bourbon drink
Seeming quiet when I first meet people and then talking them into the ground once I get into music or art
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I seem like a lot more of an asshole than I am. I just make a lot of jokes. Really caring person once you get to know me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My guitars, coffee, some way to listen to my tunes, good wine (and bourbon and beer), people with something original to say, getting out into nature from time to time, and a good book.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Art and trying to find the right balance of working hard at all my endeavors and not getting too stressed. I usually get the mix right.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either go to a show or a chill bar and occasionally an easy night in. Just generally kick it with my close friends. I'm down for anything and like having friends that have diverse lifestyles.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are down to have long chats about art but also give a fuck about what you are doing with your life. You can handle some sarcasm and ribbing, but are a nice person at heart.
