I am grounded, down to earth, and redundant.

My Self-Summary

Welp. I like to think I'm an idea guy. I can usually bring something overlooked or unthought of to the table. I enjoy reading and occasionally writing, coffee shops, new places and good conversation. Manufactured here in Northeast Georgia and have been around since. Boredom is like pulling teeth for me so I like to keep it fresh. I'm a news junkie, like most members here I have some geek features and they mostly revolve around that. I'm always up for meeting new people so go ahead and feel free to mash that message button.

What I’m doing with my life

I work in a call center for a hospital and I plan to return to college soon. I've been going to more live shows than what I used to. Lately I have been looking into semi-professional video cameras to try my hand at amateur movies. But not that kind.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh when they know they shouldn't. To me it's the most sincere when you try but really can't help it. I've never scrambled an egg that wasn't delicious.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm tall-ish. Sometimes people think I'm bored or disinterested but that usually fades once we're in the back and forth.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Christopher Hitchens, Bret Easton Ellis, Kurt Vonnegut, Alan Moore, Hunter Thompson, and Martin Amis are some writers I like. Other than that I read a good bit of historical nonfiction and some fiction like the Roma Sub Rosa series.

Movies: My favorite is probably L.A. Confidential. Pulp Fiction is up there. Some others are Downfall, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Mulholland Drive, The Godfather, The Empire Strikes Back, The Big Lebowski, Die Hard, There Will Be Blood, Jacob's Ladder, American Movie, Goodfellas, Aliens, Starship Troopers, Inglourious Basterds, The Shining, Romper Stomper, Nixon, Reservoir Dogs, Forrest Gump, In Bruges, Conspiracy, the Lethal Weapon series...

Music: The Who, The Stones, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, The Hives, New Order, Pop Will Eat Itself, Daft Punk, Bad Brains, The Strokes, NIN, pre-racist Skrewdriver, Them Crooked Vultures, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sex Pistols, Iron Maiden, The Ramones, Cock Sparrer, Blitz, The Beastie Boys, The Adolescents, you get an idea.

The six things I could never do without

Irony

On a typical Friday night I am

Not much, I work early on Saturday for the time being. I can feel your excitement through my monitor.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm just not a fan of college football.
