My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The TL; DR version- hopeless romantic and intellectual gamer, rennie, theatre and all around geek looking for a partner to share life and have some fun times with.

Also, it should be noted that I am currently in northern RI for school, but after graduation in May I plan on moving back to south central CT if all goes according to plan. I can do long distance up to a point, and of course new friends are always cool :)

Now, the longer, and far more interesting version:

I am:
Geeky/a fangirl gamer, sensitive, intelligent, loyal, generous/giving, philosophical, shy, a furry (non-suiter) and awkward.

What I am looking for: anyone- boy, girl, or in between, for something serious and committed, if there's a connection. ***NOTE*** When it comes to guys and TGs, I really only prefer slim and effeminate types, FOR PARTNERS. I'll be friends with just about anyone, but I don't want to raise someone's hopes prematurely. My ideal partner is just as geeky as me, and as intelligent, but not necessarily interested in the exact same things. (By intelligent I don't mean someone who is book smart necessarily, though that is awesome if you are. More like someone who can think reasonably and arrive at conclusions after giving the subject some thought, etc.)

Also, allow me to make a statement: someone who dresses in a Star Wars shirt and wears glasses does not constitute a geek. A true geek, the kind I'm looking for, is someone who plays games and goes to cons and watches Dr. Who like it's no big deal, because it isn't. It's just what they do for fun.

I'm not looking for flings or FWB. Friends, and/or people interested in serious relationships only, please :)

About my personality:
For those that care, according to the Kiersey test, I'm an INFJ, but I also heavily display some ISFJ traits. I do like things to be planned ahead of time, but some spontaneity mixed in is good too, and ideally I'd like a partner who can help me be a little more spontaneous. I don't make friends easily, and can be very quiet and shy when first meeting someone, but as time goes on and the relationship grows I'll open up-if there's chemistry I can open up EXTREMELY quickly; but the friends I do make are tried and true and those bonds run deep.

I'm a hopeless romantic, and extremely devoted to my lover- I will put their happiness before my own, because seeing them happy is what makes me happy. I am dependable almost to a fault-whether its lending an ear or a helping hand or showing up on time, I'm there, and will be until you've shown me you no longer deserve me in that capacity.

I also LOVE to learn about things that catch my interest-usually something that's science or history related. I'm a wealth of useless facts; I used to be on what was called Knerd Bowl (yes, spelling intentional) in school-basically an inter-school trivia competition. I also love being in nature, and love to go on hikes and walks in the woods. (I miss my hometown :() As you've probably figured out, I'm a much more intellect/mind oriented person rather than physical, but I like being that way.

Some hobbies/interests:
Video games (mainly adventure, FPS, flight sim, and RPG...though I'm rediscovering a love for horizontal shmups)
Renaissance faire(s) (don't talk about King Richards. Ugh)
Firearms/air guns/paintball
Military history, tactics and tech (mainly WWII, Civil War, and modern)
Sci fi and fantasy in general
Model rockets and planes
Webcomics and memes
Starting to get interested in cosplay
Fandoms- Star Wars, LOTR, MLP: FIM, Pokemon, Elder Scrolls, Mass Effect, FMA (original and Brotherhood), Dr. Who/Torchwood, Hitchhikers Guide, Sword of Truth
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently a senior at RIC for technical theatre, where I work in the theatre department as well. Hopefully moving back to CT after graduation. After I graduate and get some work experience I think I want to teach it at the high school/college level. When I'm not in class or at work, I'm either working on homework, reading, playing video games, or generally being a geek. Because being a geek is cool. Like bowties and fezzes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being mechanically inclined and able to take things apart, learn how they work and put them back together again.

Also a pretty decent marksman with a variety of ranged weapons.
The first things people usually notice about me

Also, I am pocket sized.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The whereto's and whyfores of how everything fits together in this massive universe. Where my soulmate is

Why people act the way they do, which is usually like jackasses. Boggles my mind...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with the Doctor traveling. :P Usually I'm just on Xbox Live with my few out of state friends having a blast, because what's the point of going out alone? Though now and again I do have a friend or two over to watch Netflix.

...really though, look for the TARDIS, I'll be nearby.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a Brony. Look it up (or, you know, you could ask, if you're looking for a conversation starter) if you don't know what that is.

I have a crush on Dr. Reid from Criminal Minds.

I'm an open book, ask me anything. I dare you. I think you'll like what you find. :)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are as much of a geek as I am, you are open to non standard sexualities, and are the sensitive and caring type. Also, if you actually made it this far. BTW: I won't respond to textspeak, ebonics, or any other form of mutilated English. If you miss a punctuation mark here or a capital letter there every now and again, that's fine, but I need to be able to understand you.

****ALSO**** Please, if you are going to message me, for the love of the great flying spaghetti noodle monster, say something more than 'hey'. Really, guys? >.< ****ADDENDUM*** A tip-if you're going to message any woman, not just me, don't be stupid and insult her, then try to ingratiate yourself with her. It doesn't work. Chauvinists, I'm talking to YOU.

DEFINITELY message me if http://xkcd.com/219/ sounds like fun

Also, major points if any or all of the following applies:
You can teach me about something new
You have ink/piercings/crazy hair
You can/want to sing along to RENT with me
You have intense/unique/almond shaped eyes/smile
You've been/want to go to a renaissance faire/comic/sci-fi convention
You answered 'complex' on that question about preferring simple people or complex
You're egalitarian
You have a warped sense of humor

I want someone to challenge me. Not disagree, necessarily, but I want my thoughts provoked.
