My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Moving to Chicago in July 2015.

Someone recently told me my profile was too snarky and failed to get across my sweetness. Oops?

I'm in a constant state of becoming. Change often frightens me, and yet I feel stiff and stagnant without it. I like to shoot the breeze with backyard philosophy. It's not that I'm quirky so much as I enjoy things that I find to be delightful.

I'm open-minded, but not so open-minded that my brains fall out.

I think that's a pretty good approach to life -- especially once the zombies rise.

I have deep thoughts of a light nature. Like a rainbow pool.

My favorite grammatically correct sentence is: Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
embracing the ever-expanding, unsolvable mystery that is life and trying to get as many other people as I can to appreciate the view.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making up random crap on the spot in a convincing way. In an alternate life, I would have been a lawyer. An evil, heartless lawyer. In this life, however, I'm more of a cuddly teddy bear. Which gives me a great idea for a new TV show: anthropomorphized bear wears business suit, practices pro bono law to defend the disenfranchised, uses the superpower of great hugs to warm the hearts of criminals and fight corporate greed.

connecting the dots. Literally. I literally connect the dots literally. And only one of those "literally's" is actually using the literal meaning of the word.

I have a beard.

Funny things come out of my mouth. Usually just words but sometimes bits of food that get caught in my, you know...beard.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Improv skills tend to make fantastic life lessons. Say "yes and" to the offers you receive. Make others look good. Focus on discovering what's already present instead of trying to make up problems. Sometimes, the most enjoyable scene to watch is just two people getting along with each other.

Whether or not people reject potential partners too quickly by assuming how someone is now is how that person will always be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I joined OkCupid before it was cool to make a clever username, and I've regretted that lack of foresight ever since.

Look, I'm open to anything. Maybe we'll meet and discover we absolutely love talking literature together and want to get together every month to talk books over a cup of coffee. Maybe we'll discover insane chemistry bantering and spend hours collapsing from laughter as we wander the city. Maybe we won't be able to keep our hands off each other.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not looking for anything in particular so much as I'm exploring the infinite possibilities that exist for two people to have a moment of genuine connection.
