What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I used to work a stage manager in opera and thus traveled a lot for work. I've now transitioned to being local to St. Louis and am a Production Manager at a local arts educational institution.

In my spare time, I take photos and keep up an ongoing daily photo project for 2011, and now a weekly photo project for 2012.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
photography (people tell me I have a great eye but I know that I have so much to learn), listening, organization
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
- my height (or lack thereof)
- my smile
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I really like true crime and mysteries (Patricia Cornwell), but also really enjoy non-fiction stories. Human stories. Names and no-names.

Movies - (in no order) Sense and Sensibility, American History X, American President, Dogma, Green Mile, Harry Potters, Galaxy Quest, Keeping the Faith, Ladder 49, Love Actually, I could go on... Dramas and action more than screwball comedies catch my interest.

Shows - I work a lot so I miss most contemporary TV, but I enjoy watching DVDs and occasional episodes of the following: West Wing, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, Law and Order:SVU, ER, Six Feet Under, X-Files among others. Latest addiction is the Sing-Off - the only reality TV show I will watch.

Music - I listen to almost anything and my taste is pretty varied. I'm a little behind on contemporary music but my latest addiction is Muse.

Food - I like lots of things, but if I had to rate them - Italian and sushi are pretty far up there. Don't like spicy food much, and am trying to expand my palate more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my camera, my iPhone, my friends & family, art & music, a good home, life's basics.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how I can improve my photography and keeping in touch with friends.
