I like to do sports/physical activities that involve moving/using my body in artistic ways. I've been doing yoga for the past few years. For the past year or so I've gotten really into aerial silks (that circusy performance art you've probably seen where people climb up long pieces of fabric, wrap them around their bodies, etc) and pole (which despite the reputation, I find much more athletic than strippery, though it does involve booty shorts).
I really like playing music, but the band has been on hiatus for a while ever since the drummer knocked up our bass player (you all know how that goes...) I'm by no means an awesome musician, but it's something I really enjoy doing a lot. I play guitar and sing, so if anyone out there wants to get together to jam, let me know! (I also love karaoke).
I'm a pretty frequent traveler. I have too many friends who live in too many places. It's great to always have a place to stay, but it also means I'm always on the road (or in the air) trying to catch up with people I care about. It would be cool to meet a travel buddy to share my adventures with.
I find gender roles and gender expectations really frustrating. I try not to let them hold me back from doing things I love doing (e.g. pole dancing, costumes). I might hold the door for you, but it is because you are a person, not because men should hold doors for women! I am a feminist, and I think it really sucks that the world is set up in such a way that women can be treated badly and so many people will just look the other way.
I'm not sure if all of my OKC question answers still accurately reflect who I am. I filled most of them out several years ago. If I find someone I really click with, I would be interested in something serious. It seems like that just so rarely comes along though, and so I'm open to just meeting people and having fun and enjoying my life in the mean time too!
