I am a well traveled lifelong New Yorker.
My friends say I am kind hearted, well respected and somewhat amazing in a multitude of ways. Some say I am a mean, surly drunk. The truth lies somewhere in between. I like to think I am well rounded realist with varied interests and that I can see and hear both sides of an argument. I make an effort to treat people as I like to be treated. That is with kindness, compassion and respect.
I listen and don't just wait to speak.

I like pens and paper, cameras and tools. Cranes and bridges fascinate me. How and why are the two most common questions I ask because I really want to know.

I sometimes sit on my terrace and count the planes in the sky.

The trend of de-saturating photos is something I am not into. I would much rather see a vibrant, saturated exposure than a washed out overly processed picture. End of photo rant.

Interesting things.
To me at least.

Remembering to kick it over.
Keeping it together in stressful situations.
Being the rational, logical one. I am good with my hands and enjoy using them to build and create things. I love tools.
I make a good lentil soup.
I'm good at some other stuff as well.

I am not who they think I am.

I read, watch movies and tv, listen to music, see bands play live and eat regularly. I also visit museums and galleries, take pictures and enjoy design and architecture in all of its many forms.

I think about being a spacecraft 10 billion miles from earth.
How amazing it is that we can send a rover to mars and a man to the moon and back.
And dogs. I spend a lot of time thinking about dogs.
The house I am going to build and live in.

I also think about being a pirate.
But not the Somali or Johnny Depp type of pirate.

I think about it all.

Probably not even aware that it is Friday.

If I am not out working I enjoy the comforts of home.
Family, friends, TV, movies, books, music and my couch.

Or I could simply be sitting on my terrace watching the cars go by.

I won't admit anything other than I dislike Ben Stiller.
And I think pictures of people posing next to art are stupid.
And I am not very fond of Will Smith.

Sue me.

You have been places and done things, and want to swap tales.

You don't throw gang signs unless you are in a gang.

You don't yoga pose in your pics.

You do have something say.

You are kind.

You get it.

You know that you can go it alone but realize that it is all the more enjoyable if you go with someone.
