My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Firstly, thank you so much for reviewing my profile. Secondly, please forgive me for it's totally lack of wit or originality.
Moved here from England 24 years ago and consider NY my home. In addition to lots of other things, looking for a partner in crime; someone to experience the good and the not-so-good that life brings our way. Have never been a "serial dater", just waiting for that elusive something to just click. Who isn't?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work on the creative side of advertising so my interests lean towards the arts, especially photography. My career can be pretty demanding, but I love it, and appreciate how lucky I am to be able say that. My job has taken me all over the world but I would still love to see (much) more of it, particularly Africa. I try to be active during my spare time/evenings and although I typically find the gym to be tedious, I do like what it does for my head.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hopefully my job. Playing with dogs. One thing I'm really bad at is cooking. Perhaps that's a British trait.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly, I haven't the slightest idea. People occasionally say I look like Russell Crowe, but that tends to happen when they're drunk so it doesn't carry a great deal of weight.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Love films - Blade Runner, Barry Lyndon, A Prophet, The Elephant Man, Death in Venice, I am Love, Blue is the Warmest Colour, Waiting for Guffman, There Will Be Blood, Alien, Incendies, Under the Skin are just a few.

Music - Radiohead/Thom Yorke, Jose Gonzalez, Elgar, Atoms for Peace, Arvo Part.

Not much into TV, but loved The Comeback and Sarah Silverman. Am really getting into HBO's True Detective.

Favourite books include: The Road, Blood Meridian, No Country for Old Men (big Cormac McCarthy fan), London Fields, Money (also a Martin Amis fan), In Cold Blood, Being There. Try to read The New Yorker every week - not always successful.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends. Family. Chocolate. Dogs (I don't have one. Yet). Vintage cars (I don't have one. Yet). A place to get away on the weekend. (I don't have one of those either. Yet.) Stay tuned.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future. And who I might be spending it with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having dinner with friends. Going to see a film. Exercising. Heading up to MA. Heading out to the beach. It all depends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Eventually.
