I love to cook, and bake, but find myself doing it rarely these days. Portland is a cheap place to eat out and I love to explore new places.
That said, I can get stuck in my routine, and may not venture to other parts of town for weeks.
I love to eat and for the most part, eat whatever I want.
Traveling. I'm pretty laid back and can find my own way pretty easily. Through work and running I've seen a lot of the world.
Movies: Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Little Miss Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire, The Hangover, Pretty in Pink (don't hold it against me, but I've watched it too many times to not include it). Don't love science fiction or box office hits of the adventure/end of the world genre. Do love chick flicks. Please don't judge. I'm a chick.
Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Kite Runner, Oracle Bones, North Korea: Nothing to Envy, Hunger Games, Born to Run
Food: grilled cheese w/ tomato soup, dulce de leche anything, peanut butter, chocolate, bacon, pizza, Thai, burgers, a good salad.
Music: a random mix of things. The only band for which I would call myself a 'groupie' is Split Lip Rayfield; a live show of theirs makes me giddy for days. A few recent shows I've been to: Brandie Carlile, Blitzen Trapper and Alt-J.

You want to go for a run/ride.
You want to meet up for a drink or meal.
You want to teach me how to kite board. :)
You want to take me to Bali for a long weekend.
I'm really fit, and while I don't necessarily want or need to date a runner, you should be pretty fit, too. A few guys have mentioned, "Hey, I don't run, so that might be a deal breaker." Running is my passion. I don't expect (or necessarily want) it to be yours. I just would hope that you're passionate about something (job, hobby, athletic endeavor, life, etc.) and that you're active, which might mean anything from bike commuting to scaling mountains.
If you have a self portrait of yourself shirtless in front of a mirror, you're probably not my type.
