I just moved here from the DC area, so I'm looking for someone to help ease the culture shock ;) I'm a down-to-earth outdoorsy person who loves backpacking, the mountains and playing sports. Hockey, skiing, soccer, and ultimate are my favorites, among others. I enjoy good theater, both on stage and screen. Hollywood and independent films each have their appeal. I need a mix of structure and spontaneity to keep me organized, but on my toes. Adventures are always appealing, so while I am often mild-mannered, skydiving is something I'd love to try. I cook, sing, and act - sometimes all three at once when no one is around. :) Whether I'm good at any of those would be for you to decide. I am honest, supportive, and romantic, and try to be aware of the important, yet frequently small things in life and relationships.

You're real and unpretentious, open and accepting. You should have some sort of direction in your life, and be secure with who you are. Intelligence, wit, and the ability to have a good conversation are important. Willingness to run outside during a thunder storm is a plus, as is a love for all things chocolate.
