My self-summary
Update...
Having a house really turns you into a handy man. I spend most of my time maintaining my home, who would have thought it was that much more work. But even with that, I don't miss apartment living.
So I was enjoying life out in Memphis TN, things were good. But being a Texas native, I felt the urge to return home. So when my company had an opening out here, I took it. I haven't looked back, I love this place. Though the quantity of crickets is quite strange.
I immediately took to noticing that service roads can be tricky to drive on, we didn't have them in Tennessee. Also that Texans have a different concept of distance than other people. Thirty minutes is a really short drive for a lot of people here, and in Memphis I could be anywhere in town even in rush hour traffic.
Well my latest update is that I decided to settle in Texas, I like it here, just got my new place in Royse City, I absolutely love small towns.
I guess that I have to say that I am happy, but it doesn't take too much to make me that way. Life is good. I have plenty of friends, and in the year that I have lived here, I haven't had a bad day once. But that is normal for me, because I know how I want to live my life, not much can get me down.
What I’m doing with my life
Well I work, but hopefully that is normal for everyone. I like my job a lot, I get paid to talk to people. Yep its that easy. Can you believe that I have a job that is that easy and fun. I almost can't believe how shy I used to be back in school. Now I Have an easy time approaching people.
Sleep is big on the list too. Well not so much that I enjoy sleep, I just enjoy beds. You know the feeling when you first wake up in the morning and are just so comfortable that you almost cant leave the bed?
I spend a lot of time hanging out with the friends I have made since coming out here, but you can never have too many friends,
well you can but I still haven't reached that quota.
As far as what I want to be when I grow up, I will probably have that figured out by the time I grow up. Right now, I am just having fun.
I’m really good at
Talking. Been doing it since I was little. And I get paid to do it, so I have to be able to.
Cooking, not actually good at it, but I am still alive so I must be doing something right. I make a nice pasta in a vodka cream sauce, also good at the basics like tacos or spaghetti.
Playing with electronics, got a degree and everything.
Solving problems, I have always been able to look at things from an outside view and figure out why things don't work.
Ironing, yep, gotta keep those clothes looking good.
If you have read this far, you have probably figured out that I am bad at filling out self descriptive profiles.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I can't possibly be serious.
Or that my eyes are changing color.
But I am definitely going to go with the fact that I can deliver an off the wall comment and be completely serious when I do.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books? I went to public school so I have a high statistical probability of being illiterate.
Movies. My Cousin Vinny, Hot Fuzz, Death at a Funeral, I find myself interested mostly in movies where stuff blows up or I roll on the floor laughing, preferably both.
Music. A child of the 60's born in the 80's. I love the guitar hero's of previous generations, Its my favorite instrument and most artists of today don't play any instruments.
Food? Sesame chicken, sushi, and my favorite, Cheeseburgers. Also since I moved here a year ago so its been a year since I had a good slice of pizza.
The six things I could never do without
I have to say my iPhone, wow how did anyone ever live with out easy access to everything right at their fingertips. The yelp app makes finding things so easy. And pandora makes the best party dj for a house party.
My car, we have been through a lot together. Ooh and its a stick too, so much fun to drive. It may be a little Saturn but it gets me from point a to point b, and it has plenty of cargo space.
Express, it's my favorite store to shop at. It was like they said lets make a store anyone can walk into and buy anything and it will look great. Though TJ Maxx and Ross are way better priced, so I visit them too.
Wow it was hard just thinking of those three, don't know if i am going to have to dip into the generic family friends response, I love them but that doesn't say much about me.
Oh I got another, my washer and dryer. If you have ever gone without one, you realize the importance, laundromats are so boring and time consuming.
Streaming television off the web, I have too much fun, so I can't watch tv when the networks think it would be best to air the shows I want to watch.
I guess I am going to have to use the friends and family answer, and this is the only answer I couldn't actually do without. The rest of the answers are just things I would prefer to keep. I am a minimalist, it doesn't take much to make me happy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How things work.
Why oreo is america's favorite cookie. I cant figure it out. It doesn't make sense, the chocolate chip cookie is delicious and doesn't require milk to make it taste good, but on its own an oreo is not very impressive because it needs the milk to make it better.
How to build a time machine.
On a typical Friday night I am
Not actually sure what a typical Friday night is.
Finding someplace I haven't seen before. Previous Friday evenings include, movie nights with friends, taco nights with friends, going to the clubs with friends, drinking with friends.
As you will notice there is a relatively consistent theme, Friday is a good night for friends, not that Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Saturday Sunday are not good days for friends, I tend to be on the go a lot.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I prefer my ackward moments to be in person.
Oh maybe the fact that I actually enjoy laundry.
Wait, I have a really good one, I used to play World of Warcraft, I am so ashamed.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 22–33
  • Near me

You should message me if
You are not crazy, I am sure I have other requirements but I just want to finish this thing. I am really looking for new friends mostly, not saying I don't want a relationship someday, just really more interested in finding some people to maybe have a little fun with. Or just chill at Starbucks or grab a beer with. Maybe I am weird. No that's not it, I know I am weird.
