I am very laid back and down to earth. I love to stay active with basketball, golf, camping, kayaking and running. Many of my trips center around wine tasting or a visit to a good craft brewery. I also love to read and watch movies, but it seems I don't have much time for either lately. I have a 26 year old son who lives on his own and of course I don't see often enough! I am very active in my teachers union, serving as the president of my local. I am also very involved in politics. I like to get out with friends as often as possible as well.

I am active, involved, and funny

I have been teaching for 15 years, and coached previously for 26. I quit coaching swimming to serve as my teachers union president. I stay involved in swimming as an official.

I like to read Tom Clancy, Dean Koontz, and John Grisham books, but don't get the opportunity very often anymore. I like all kinds of movies, but especially movies with some action, adventure, and mystery. I NEVER get to the theater anymore.

I love to listen to blues and classic rock like Eric Clapton, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Keb Moe, The Who, Led Zeppelin. I'll listen to just about anything but country.

My son, the internet, my computer, MY FLASH DRIVE!, the ability to relax in nature (camping, kayaking, ...), and maybe good beer.

The constant attacks on educators and public education.

Out after school with co-workers, then home for a bit before going out with friends.

I'll have to think about that.
