I am phantasmagoric, plasticine, and perceptive.
My Self-Summary
I moved to Pittsburgh. Yay!
My
myspace
has way more information on it.
Recently, I've been attempting to learn how to make better use of
my camera.
What I’m doing with my life
After a 12 year hiatus, I went back to school. I'm currently
pursuing a BS in Geography and a minor in French. I have about a
year left.
I’m really good at
...the overuse of ellipses...
cooking...
laughing at inappropriate times...
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm rather short.
And then there are the tattoos...
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
books
Chuck Palahniuk's stuff, High Fidelity, The Perks of Being a
Wallflower, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Vonnegut, Heinlein,
Dan Simmons, Brian Lumley, Poppy Z. Brite, Clive Barker...I read a
lot of sci-fi and horror, but pretty much anything's fair
game.
movies
Sheesh...if it's a movie, chances are I'll watch it. I'll probably
like it, too.
Evil Dead, Videodrome, Doom Generation, Existenz, Children of Men,
American Splendor, Deathproof, Planet Terror, Pi, Requiem for a
Dream, The Fountain, Kevin Smith's everything, Identity,
Saving Silverman, The Royal Tenenbaums, Sunshine, Wet Hot American
Summer, The Virgin Suicides, Cool World, Dark City, Happiness (the
one with the i, not the one with the y)...
music
Regina Spektor, Lilly Allen, Barenaked Ladies, Ani DiFranco, Less
Than Jake, They Might Be Giants, Yonder Mountain String Band,
Camera Obscura, Belle and Sebastian, Jack's Mannequin, The Shins,
Iron and Wine, Billy Cobham, The Smiths, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen,
Janis Joplin, State Radio, REM, The Decemberists, Sublime, Andy
McKee, Pink Floyd...
I'm a bit of a mediaphile.
food
Thai, Chinese, Hungarian, Italian. I've tried sushi, but it's not
for me. Possibly the veggie rolls, but I'm not fond of seafood in
general.
I love to cook, though I seldom use recipes. My grill gets a lot of
use in the summer.
I'll try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
I'm not sure that there's anything that I absolutely
could
never do without. I've done without everything at one point or
another, and it seems that there's always something to be found to
replace whatever's missing. Oftentimes, the replacement turns out
to be better than the original.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How is it possible for the cat to get his head stuck in the couch
cushions...at least twice a day...every day?
On a typical Friday night I am
wondering if it's going to be a typical Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I do not currently own a couch...but I *am* looking.
