The thing that I am most proud of in my life is my original ideas. Though they may make little sense to others and they may be quirky, they are my own ideas and I value my ability to come to the conclusions I have. My belief is that life should be lived with an open mind and without limits. I have a great deal of passion for life and I always attempt to look at things from outside the box. Every day I strive to better my life and the better the man that I am. I am very much an extrovert and I enjoy all walks of life. I can have a great deal of fun doing anything and I am overly excited to try new things hoping to expand my scope of life. When I love, I love with my whole heart. I am a very compassionate person and I love the world and the life I try to live. Beauty is something I see within everything and I have been blessed with the ability to find something good in all things that have happened. I have a strong sense of self. I love to work hard and achieve the goals I have set forth in my life. I am honestly a kid at heart. I am very sarcastic, almost to a fault. Though I do have a very sensible and serious side, I typically let the kid in me take over. Spending the better part of the past decade moving around the country, I have learned how to have fun in anything I am doing. In no way would I ever be mistaken for being judgmental, as I am very accepting of most things. What I have learned is that your past, no matter how great or how heart wrenching it may have been, it's still something you had to endure that helped you become a better you. The past is the past for a reason. We should learn from it, grow from it, but for no reason should we ever forget the significance it had on our lives. I have learned a great deal about life over the past few years. Some lessons were embraced while others I dreadfully tried to avoid. In hindsight, I know I have become a better person because of them. With every passing day I learn more about how old my soul truly must be. I watch as others around me try to take advantage of others, stepping on anyone’s toes to get what they desire. That’s not who I am nor will that ever be what I am about. I always try to stay mindful and considerate of others, sometimes putting the needs others before my own. I often ask myself, whatever happened to what we were taught as children, treat others as you wish to be treated? I have realized to be happy you must first be happy with yourself and work towards creating a more positive and productive life. It's not always the easiest thing to live a happy life, but I think it is important to consider the lives you may be affecting otherwise.
Honestly, I'm looking for good people to have in my life. I seek something more. I would love to find the woman of my dreams but that has yet to happen in my life. I have had anything from serious relationships that lasted for 2 years or more to short, flamed out quick relationships, to friends with benefits, to merely just friends. I have remained myself in every situation though and always hoped for more. I am the type of person that can be happy with any situation because I am happy with myself. I could meet someone tomorrow and be satisfied with only being friends or I could meet someone, fall head over heels and devote my entire life to making her happy and starting the family I have long dreamt of having. Which is me, any and all of those things. What do I seek, any and all of those things. My hearts desire is the latter, but I won't ever be the person who turns away from someone when I realize they aren't my better half. I feel we live and we learn. Perhaps meeting someone and embarking on a specific type of relationship will help you build a better you so that you can obtain and maintain true happiness with the next person. Too many people try and force relationships and they don't work out. We are meant to have heartache so that we can grow, we are meant to learn lessons in our life so we can be better equipped for that next phase in our life.
I am also a huge outdoor enthusiast. I love being outdoors. Considering I am a scorpio, which is a water sign, I am obsessed with the water. I spent much of this past summer on the river rafting and I plan to do it even more next summer. I love the mountains, I could literally live in the tree with those women from the movie "Without a Paddle". I am also a huge sports fanatic. I love trash talking anyone who has something a little bit witty about sports. I know my sports, I know my history, so please be prepared to give me a good argument.
