My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am an eclectic girl with many different sides to my personality. I am always optimistic, sometimes to a fault. I can dress up or down, but am usually dressed for comfort and function. I don't mind getting dirty but I keep a clean house. I am who I am and I am ever evolving. If you teach me something new and I enjoy it, there is a good chance that will become a part of me. I love to adventure and learn. I have a very serious side when it comes to responsibility, but I am very playful, laid back, and low maintenance.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am an ex-pastry chef, and currently a microbiologist for a hospital. I love my job. I love that when I wake up and go to work I get to feel like a mad scientist out to save the world. I have such a thirst for knowledge. I'm the girl you'll find in the corner of the science section of the library frantically flipping pages. I also still love to create in the kitchen, find me the time and give me a favorite flavor and I will create you something just for the challenge.

A while back I decided to start a life of trying anything and everything. So far I love it all. I have conquered quite a few things and my list just keeps growing. I never cease to amaze myself, and I find myself loving the worlds I end up immersed in. Mind over matter.

I am addicted to my audibles account. I commute and one of my favorite days each month is the day I get my new credits.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Optimism and finding the silver lining. Learning. Cooking and baking. Making any situation an interesting story for later. Trying new things. Living life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My haircut. It's nothing fancy. I shower and go. But an astounding number of people have said something. Otherwise I have no idea and someone should tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I've always wanted a library so it's hard to choose. Whatever I'm reading at the time I suppose. I'm usually so engrossed I can't stop. I get immersed in the book world and find myself sad when it ends. Ken Follett, Ayn Rand, Tess Gerritsen, Erik Larson, Chuck Palahniuk, Richard Preston, Donna Tartt... I guess it all depends on my mood when I'm walking through the book store or checking out audibles.

Movies: I'm open to watching just about anything from blockbusters to B movies. Cirque du soleil, Avatar, Tron, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Julie and Julia, Zombieland, Escanaba in Da Moonlight, Mr. Holland's Opus, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Inception, The Hours. Make a recommendation and I'll check it out!

Shows: House of Cards, Bob's Burgers, The Big Bang Theory, American Dad, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Futurama, Glee, House, Dick Van Dyke Show, All in The Family, ER, Roseanne, M*A*S*H, The Golden Girls... I am not a huge TV person and I do not have cable.

Music: Escala, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jamiroquai, Bobby Darin, Backstreet Boys, Michael Buble, 30 Seconds To Mars, Neil Diamond, Eminem, Rascal Flatts, I'm a sucker for Disney music..something so motivational while I'm at work, cleaning the house, or working out....But there is many many many others. I'm pretty eclectic. :) If you ask nicely, I'll show you my Pandora stations!

Food: Anything really. I love to experiment with cooking or go exploring for new food. I have an unnatural love for sushi and Ethiopian food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family(and friends that I consider family)
My books
My optimism and determination
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What project I can tackle next. How I can play Tetris with all of the activities I want to participate in for the day/week/month to get everything to fit so I don't miss out.
When will I have a free moment to Wikipedia that new intriguing thing I just found out about.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Rock climbing, Lyra, dinner and drinks, cooking, going for a walk, finding a new place or thing to experience, packing a bag with a set of clothes for anything that may come my way and heading out with a partner in crime to create an interesting story to tell, throwing on some PJs and curling up for a fantastic low key night in...Any suggestions?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
