Disclaimer: Not looking for romantic stuff right now. Can't say what I'll be looking for later, but no dating for me at the moment.

To start off, I'm a pretty simple person in some ways. I like it when people are honest, and I'm always honest with people (I try to be, at least). I try not to be judgmental, and I like it when other people don't judge. See where I'm going with this? Basically, I try to treat people well, and I enjoy life more when I surround myself with people who do the same.

That being said, I really like to get messages. Talking to new people is interesting, isn't it?

I'm on this website because my interests tend to be all over the place, which I think makes life way more interesting. However, it does make it difficult to meet like-minded people. I think books are pretty awesome, so if you read from time to time, we'll probably have something to talk about. Some other things I think are pretty cool: Pixar movies, physics, marine biology (don't go to the beach with me unless you want to know all the different species of periwinkles and seaweed), Drum Corps, marching band, and more things that I'll add later. Oh yeah, did I mention I'm a little bit of a geek?

In other news, I've got a car and an apartment and all those basics, I'm one year away from graduating with a bachelor's degree in Business Management, and I've got a job to pay the bills and keep student loans to a minimum. I also have a job as an assistant director for a high school marching band because I really enjoy it.

Right now, my first priority is getting a degree. I'm at the University of Southern Maine studying business. I took some time off from school, and then took a while trying to find a major I could live with, so I'm a bit behind some people my age but meh, I'd prefer being a year or two late over getting a useless degree in something I don't care about.

Outside of school, I've had a few different jobs in the past couple years, we'll see if I settle into one any time soon.

I'm awesome at keeping calm when most people start to freak out. A lot of people like to have me around for that reason. 

I'm also pretty decent with music. I don't know a lot of theory, and I'm not great at improvising, but a couple years in a DCI drum corps have taught me a lot about brass playing (and marching, but how often do you use that?)

It seems that certain types of people think I'm very intelligent. I think it's just because I talk as though I know what I'm talking about, though.

How am I supposed to know that?

I have a bit of a pet peeve about astrology (the one with the "signs"). It annoys me when people mention it, and it really annoys me when people make decisions or judgments based on it.
