My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm pretty easy going. I've lived almost equally in Texas, Pennsylvania, and now here. I'm creative for a living, outdoorsy, sarcastic, and sort of a nerd.

I love the city but part of me is constantly fighting the urge to say "fuck it" and move to a cabin where I can have a fire every day.

I considered taking a bathroom selfie but couldn't bring myself to do it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for myself drawing pictures for magazines and books. It rocks. I also build stuff when I get the chance.

Otherwise I'm trying not to get too worked up about things and just enjoy it. I don't need extravagant things to keep me happy, cards, hanging around outside, or a good beverage is usually enough.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Keeping my air plant alive... how many times can it bud another one before it's had enough?

I'm pretty handy, fixing and building, that sort of thing.

Blunt and honest, sometimes that's not that great though.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably big eyes and skinny... eh, it is what it is
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: The Beginners, What About Bob, Sideways, Band of Brothers, Lost in Translation, Wes Anderson movies, The King's Speach, Let the Right One In, Stranger than Fiction, stupid action stuff, and of course the Princess Bride

Music: Lumineers, Black Angels, The National, Phoenix, Wolf Parade, Of Monsters and Men, Santigold, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Youth Lagoon, Iron and Wine, Zeppelin...

Books: I buy a lot of history books then buy some sort of fiction to balance it out. My favorite is probably the Hornblower books by C.S. Forester. 1491 (history nerd). Bill Bryson.

Food: I'm not picky I'll try anything and probably enjoy it but I'm realizing it isn't a passion for me like it is for many.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books, Coffee, Trees, Drawing, Water, Whiskey
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ideas for new projects.
Why things are the way they are.
Wanting a barn
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably with some friends at a bar, or working. Things are always due on Monday but they say "have a good weekend." Yeah, thanks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I have to use a yardstick or a drywall ruler I still might take some time to pretend it's a sword.
