My self-summary

Been here for three years and this city's been pretty good to me. Doing my best to keep that goin'.
What I’m doing with my life
getting loud (musically), working my ass off, fading raw denim, brunching, among other things.
I’m really good at
Making you laugh, making breakfast, finding good food in the city, fixing things, finding the quickest route from point A to point B, my job. I'm pretty good at a number of things, I'm not gonna list them all, and I probably couldn't think of some of them anyways.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: Roomrunner, Kidcrash, La Dispute, Cursed, American Nightmare, Botch, Earth, Grails, Harmonizer, Refused, Touche Amore, True Widow, Old Man Gloom, Birds in Row, Loma Prieta, Narrows, These Arms Are Snakes, Don Cab, Some Girls, Verse, Native, Battles, Burning Love, Harvey Milk, Glassjaw, Coliseum, Zozobra, Braid, Jawbox, Unwound, Drive Like Jehu, Metz, Hot Snakes, Bill Callahan, Cap'n Jazz, Charles Bronson, Failure, Hum, Title Fight, Rise and Fall, Black Cross, Sunn O))), Blacklisted, Capsule, Jenny Piccolo, Neurosis, Pissed Jeans, Punch, Tiny Hawks, Daitro, Das Oath, Raw Nerve, Shifted, Young Widows, Loma Prieta, Jesu, At the Drive In, Retox, Lower, OM, Pinback, Slint, T/T/T, Tim Hecker. Anything on Youth Attack. Tons of punk/loud jamz.

I also listen to a lot of other not-as-loud stuff. The bands like Grizzly Bear, Radiohead, Broken Social Scene, Elliot Smith, Nirvana, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Sigur Ros, St. Vincent, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, etc that everyone listens to. Don't get me wrong, music's the best.

Last 5 records I bought: Young Widows "Easy Pain," American Football "Self-Titled," T/T/T "Self-Titled," Owls "Two," Kidcrash "Jokes."

Food: Greek yogurt, avocado, any kind of fruit, cheeses, [authentic] Mexican, breakfast sandwiches. I'm open to most things food-wise. Oh, spicy pickles. A good steak doesn't hurt either. Home cooking is a good way to gain my affection.

Books: Calvin and Hobbes, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, In Cold Blood, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Adbusters Magazine, National Geographic, House of Leaves, 2666, some Thomas Pynchon and Palahniuk.

Movies: Anything with Bill Murray in it, Quentin Tarantino flicks, Fight Club, The Fifth Element, most Coen brothers' movies, the Omen, Audition, Suspiria, Rosemary's Baby, The Usual Suspects, Natural Born Killers, Trainspotting. I don't know, you get the picture.
The six things I could never do without
a notebook
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, or cooking an awesome meal with my closest friends. Sometimes at a bar, but more often a show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I went to the Boy Scout camp where Moonrise Kingdom was filmed when I was a kid. Like every summer.

I have a 30% discount at everyone's favorite grocery store (and no it isn't Trader Joes's. If I had to wear a Hawaiian shirt to work every day.....)
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–26
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You like good times with friends. And also tunes. Good ones.

Also, guys with stubble, cause I hate shaving all the way. Note: I have a beard right now, if that doesn't work for you; well, I'm shit outta luck.

If you are driven, motivated, and passionate about something awesome, message away; something you create or make with your hands, all the more admirable. Or if you wanna drink whiskey and spin a record or two.

If you're easy on the eyes, you dress like a woman that would be on Jak & Jil, and are totally stylin', I think you'd get my attention.

Also, if you aren't one of those people that bum rushes the subway benches before letting people off the train, I can't fucking stand that.

Also don't refer to you're cats/dogs as your children. That's just fucking weird.
