I was thinking about Michael Jackson compared to some other pop music icons--The Beatles, Elvis, and Madonna specifically. And besides being major pop stars, very influential to new pop stars' music, and general...steez, etc. And it occurs to me that MJ had a fucked up connection to each of those 3 music groups.

With Elvis, he married (and presumably fucked) his daughter. That's so funny. Then, he dated (and presumably fucked) Madonna in the 80s. And he couldn't fuck the Beatles, so he bought their anthology and fucked it by pimping it out to whatever advert, commercial, or whatever.

So yeah, Michael Jackson (RIP) is a calculating, cold sumbitch! But his music and influence is awesome. He's been imitated over and over, and has pretty much set the bar at a super lofty height for those who want pop music fame. And look how crazy his fans worldwide are. 

He's the most influential (musically, performance-wise) pop music icon we ever had. Maybe in 500 more years, he'll be like Shakespeare or something.
