I'm looking for a smart, funny girl with whom to hang. Preferably one who likes playing outdoors. I'm at a point in life where I know I want a substantial relationship based on trust, respect and common interests.

I've been working for myself for the past few years and digging the freedom. In the city, I like discovering new food and music. I like everything from a mellow, intimate show at Yoshi's or a high energy dance vibe, as long as the music is quality.

Whenever possible, I like to snowboard, mtn bike, backpack, do yoga and swim and generally be in the out of doors.

For reading, I like authors that change my perspective like Orwell, Huxley, Dawkins, Nietzsche, and Malcolm Gladwell. I also like a good fantasy, either historic or future. I never thought I'd say I'm into webcomics, but I really like XKCD.com, AbstruseGoose.com and TheOatmeal.com.

For music, I like old delta blues, roots reggae, electronic, bossa nova, guitar. Lately I've been into Mason Jennings and Todd Snider. When it comes to dancing, I like anything with a good beat like funk, hiphop, or electronic. I'd like to learn to swing or salsa dance.

I'm into Belgian white beer, good wine, and I'll eat pretty much anything. Recently re-tried uni and found I finally liked it!

Mountains, fresh air, learning new things, an Internet connection, dogs, friends, family, love.

I used to think a lot about how I could live somewhere near nature but still have a social life. I really want to be able to wake up and go swimming in a natural body of water, have high-speed Internet, and have good friends around. I have not found this place yet. For now, I'm realizing that San Francisco is a special place and just enjoying it.

I once stole part of someone's lawn. It was wrong and I am ashamed.
