My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Alright, since I'm redoing this profile to make it not suck, I suppose that I should actually fill most of this stuff out. I like to consider myself an intellectual type of person, and I know that I'm very much a nerd, but I like to think that I can fit in just about anywhere. I have a lot of varied interests, I love to read, watch movies, and I'm trying out some of this 'outdoor' stuff that I hear so much about. I'm pretty friendly, so feel free to drop me a message, I don't bite! Much.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently employed at the Kroger store in Staunton, and I'm the Produce Manager there, have been for a year now. It's not the most glamorous thing in the world, but my schedule is fairly flexible, and I like the business. It's not a bad company to work for either, and right now I'm considering moving up in it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a very good listener, sometimes too good, and I read pretty well. I like playing games of just about any kind, and I'd like to think that I'm at least decent at them!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not honestly too sure about this, but I would probably say my brown eyes or my black hair. Neither are too unusual, but I think they're some of my better features, even if my hair has too much grey in it for my tastes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Dresden Files, The Hollows, a lot of what most would consider 'urban fantasy', with the very notable exception of Twilight and Laurel Hamilton. They're bad. Really really bad. I read some trashy sci-fi too. David Sedaris is another one of my favorite authors, and I like some of Steven King's work, but not all of it. I also enjoy Dan Brown's works, as well as Michael Crichton.

Movies: Just about anything that's not straight up romance or things like the _____ Movie films. I like sci-fi, I love romantic comedies, and I'll watch just about anything. But for horror movies or gory films, I really need to be buzzed or drunk first.

Food: I'm kinda picky when it comes to my food. It needs to be well done, and I don't like things too spicy. But I love chicken in just about any way that you can prepare it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. A computer
2. Something to read
3. My family
4. Some disposable income
5. A car
6. A job where I can be mentally engaged
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Currently, I spend a lot of time thinking about my recent past. It's bad to dwell on mistakes, but events lately have gotten me quite down.

Beyond that, it's mostly thinking about nerdy pursuits, creative writing, things like that.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't have nearly enough friends that enjoy going out, so currently it's likely either sitting at home, working, or maaaaybe trying to find some fun out on the town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm not putting anything in this one, but once someone gets to know me, I'm a fairly open book. Just not to complete strangers!
