My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Meat eating, super progressive minded, techno nerd, geek, and stud rolled into one. Some have said I’m an obnoxious asshole with a heart of gold… Man, self-summaries suck, just talk to me to get a feel of who I am.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I've gone back to school to get my masters in security studies in the Middle East and Southwest Asia regions. Outside of that I’m enjoying what DC has to offer!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Reaching things on high shelves, debating issues, watching movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would guess it’s my height, my dark features, and my giant eyebrows? On closer inspection I’ve been told I have really nice eye lashes as well. Oh, I guess I’m loud too, that probably gets noticed!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
It’s hard to have favorites in any categories because I love many things and limiting them to just a few is something that’s hard for me to do. That being said, I love science fiction movies, especially ones that deal with time travel and philosophical concepts. Looper recently was pretty good, but doesn’t beat 12 Monkey’s, Time Crimes, or even Terminator 2!

As far as shows, I’m a TV junkie, but that includes crap shows. I’m trying to limit myself, but will not miss the best writing on TV, such as Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, and Sherlock (the modern BBC version).

When talking about the music realm, I’m not one of these have to go out to the 9:39 club every week music heads, but I like pretty much everything, with the exception of modern country and jazz. Sorry jazz fans. Some go-to bands are, System of a Down, Tom Petty, and The Offspring.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I’ve never liked this section for various reasons, but for now I’m going to say, great food, the internet, video games, movies, friends, and board games.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Middle East and Western relations and peace building efforts, that and video games.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I tend to stay home on Fridays, but if I do go out, my big nights are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On those days, I’m at my favorite watering hole, playing games or at the movies, and at a minimum at a good restaurant to get some great food. That being said though, now that I’m dating again, maybe WE could be somewhere on Friday night?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I’m not willing to admit many private things on the internet!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I find that women don’t tend to message men, but that being said, I think you should message me back if I message you, even if it’s to say you’re not interested in dating, we may end up being friends!
