My Self-Summary
Smart, educated professional here. It seems like I have a lot going
for me these days (career, great family and friends,
financial/emotional stability) but always looking to meet new
people outside of the bar/club scene. I prefer other well-educated,
stable, professional and good looking guys. Guys who can talk about
something else besides the scene or pop culture. Guys who read the
newspaper and are capable of an intelligent conversation (I
definitely consider myself more of a liberal, but politics has
never been a pre-requisite for dating). Guys who are into travel.
Guys who can appreciate a good catch and have a good heart.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as an attorney at a large law firm downtown. The hours can
be brutal at times, but I generally enjoy my job and the
intellectual challenge that it brings.
I’m really good at
Planning a vacation. Seriously. I have at least 3 trips planned at
any given time. I love exploring the globe. And I'm a master at
finding travel deals.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told my eyes. They're blue. Some guys like that. And then
probably my ability to talk about geeky subjects like finance and
tax law.
The *last* thing people notice about me is probably my sense of humor. It's very dry, and I'm a quiet guy, so my words can be read wrong at times. I chalk it up to being an INTJ.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books = anything non-legal. Though I do occasionally like a good
legal mystery.
They are so varied it would be hard to describe. I like comedies, basically because I don't like to be depressed when I actually find myself with a few hours to watch a movie.
As for music and food, seriously anything. I will try anything. And if I like something I will repeat it multiple times (e.g., Ethiopian food) until I am tired of eating it.

1) My dog (she's awesome, really)
2) My blackberry (because I'd be fired, it's that simple)
3) My carry on suitcase (just within the airline limits because I refuse to check baggage)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. Where I will be and what I will be doing. Until I
realize that planning can be useless. I would never have imagined I
would be where I am five years ago, so I'm sure I have no idea
where life will take me. But I will enjoy the ride!
On a typical Friday night I am
It totally depends. Sometimes it's catching up with a good friend
over dinner. Other times it's sitting on my couch watching HGTV
with my dog and a glass of wine. I am least likely to be found at a
crazy bar on Friday night. Saturday, maybe, but not Friday.
