My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i would say i'm pretty easy going but adventurous. Open minded but opinionated. i like to live as stress free a life as possible. i like to travel, eat and drink well and keep myself in good shape. i enjoy basketball, music, movies, books, comedy, the beach, the stars and good conversation. I'm from California and have lived in Boston, London, Tennessee, Georgia and Denver.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
just returned from Europe and trying to settle back into quiet life in the country. it's not working. I've decided to wander the country sides in search of adventure. I'm also trying to figure out where to go next so if you have any suggestions please let me know.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
wondering if the staff robot is creating and generating images and profiles for every other member on this site.
The first things people usually notice about me

I've never thought to ask. I'd like to say my stunning good looks but in actuality probably my beard or a tattoo.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
some of my favorite books are Enders Game, Shogun, One Flew Over the Cuckcoo's Nest, Atlas Shrugged. I also love graphic novels/comics. Not so much superhero genre (although I do enjoy most of the cinematic adaptations) but more crime, sci fi, horror.
i'm a big fan of Tarantino, Kurosawa and Von Trier movies. I consider Pulp Fiction to be the best movie ever made and would be happy to debate you on this subject. I also love the sci-fi genre. If a movie makes you think or presents interesting ideas I'll usually enjoy it.
i can usually find something enjoyable in most music genres with the exception of country or bluegrass.
As far as tv goes I'm pretty much on board with anything HBO puts out and of course South Park.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Stimulating conversation, movies, basketball, humor, travel, great sex
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The singularity and my next destination.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hopefully doing something stimulating both mentally and physically.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is far from the most private thing I'm willing to admit but it has become a source of frustration since I've been online dating; I'm tired of fat women labeling themselves as curvy, athletic or any other adjective to distort the fact that they're FAT on this and every other dating site. The whole point of everyone taking the time to fill all this annoying shit out is to give any interested party an honest description of ourselves so we don't waste our time and energy going to meet someone that isn't what they say they are. Look, if you want to be fat, fine, just don't try to conceal the fact by posting out of focus head shots, pictures from a decade ago before you ballooned up or you peaking out from behind a double decker bus and choosing average, curvy, athletic or whatever other options are available in the body type category to conceal the first thing I'm going to notice about you. If you're not happy with your body, do something healthy to change it, don't lie about it and expect the person to just accept it when you meet them. It's dishonest and unfair to the other person. I'm sure you women have to deal with this too and you understand how disappointing it is to be excited about meeting someone you have common interests with and are possibly attracted to then they turn out to be physically fraudulent. If I say I'm 6'8" and when we meet I'm clearly not, you're going to be disappointed and think I'm delusional. At least you can say, 'Hey, I thought you were 6'8". What the fuck?' and be well within your rights. I can't say, 'Hey, you're not athletic. You're not even remotely in shape. What the fuck?', without being labeled an asshole. I don't expect every woman I meet to have a six pack and be able to bounce quarters off of their ass, unless they say they can. I'm just asking for some truth. And btw, curvy means voluptuous not round. You're doing a disservice to all the truly curvy women out there.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are not uptight, have a sense of humor, are not easily offended, don't take yourself to seriously, are in good shape, think you are an overly sexual person and are mentally stable.

I'm still not sure those last two can coexist but I remain hopeful.
