In September I moved to the Pacific Northwest from the Mid-Atlantic... simply needed a change. I love going to shows, movies, renaissance festivals, sci-fi conventions, skiing, restoring ancient artifacts, ... more later.

Still new to the area, I have a job in management at a local glass company... For now, but honestly, as a former business owner... I am enjoying the reduced responsibility, and time that I seem to have a certain quantity. I would love to have someone to hang out with, with similar interests. I want to explore a bit, visit some local wineries, see some amazing shows... I have not been to a movie for over 6 months... Do you ski? Plus points for that one!

Anything, really. I am a perfectionist, and quite ambitious in nature. I can do anything that I desire and with alarming precision. The problem comes in inspiration. For the past several years, I have lacked direction, and it has been a long road back from that dark time...

My eyes are a unique shade of blue, people usually say something about that.

I enjoy reading alternative reality, and historical fiction for entertainment. I have beside me right now, a book by Philip Roth the Plot Against America' where Lindburgh was elected US president in 1939, and follows what would have happened differently. I am constantly reading technical manuals, and researching historical texts as well.

Favorite movies... My all time favorite and one that really spoke to me is from about 1990 it is called 'Dead Again' with Kenneth Branagh in it... Other favorites The Labyrinth, Donnie Darko, The Matrix (first one only), The original Star Wars Movies, Star Trek (even the new ones), Most anything that takes place in space, and most anything with Denzel Washington, Samuel L Jackson, or Meg Ryan in it... Did I just say Meg Ryan? I had a crush in High School on her...

Music... this section could be huge... But will not be. The basis of all good music is Symphony, it is perfection... and from Wagner, to Schubert, to Mozart... I enjoy anything emotional, with meaning, brilliant lyrics, and a great bass line! (how about this segue) Yes I am an old school Goth kid, I love Industrial music.... Some of my favorite bands are mind.in.a.box, Blaqk Audio, Absurd Minds, Aesthetic Perfection, Covenant, Cruxshadows, De/Vision, Diorama, Edge of Dawn, IAMX, Imperative Reaction, Iris, Massiv In Mensch, Mesh, Necessary Response, Necro Facility, Pride and Fall, Seabound, System Syn, Thyx, and so many more, I know most were in alphabetical order, was scrolling through while writing. Of course I get in a mood for the classics and listen to some Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Xymox, or Beborn Beton to name a few.

I love going to concerts, Shakespearean plays, Theatre in general, I have even been to an Opera, and loved it, so pretty much I will enjoy what you do...

Favorite food is Indian, I love Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Italian, German... I could just list all the countries now... I think I like food! Does anyone know where i can get a good southern pulled pork barbecue? That might just be the only thing I miss from the East Coast...

Never do without.... I am full of abstract ideas and not so much things...

The future...I am not overly sentimental, I do not dwell on things that have been, things I cannot undo or change. I embrace the past as part of me, and have learned from it...

Typically... I have been home a lot, let's go see a show, go to the city, have some wine, some conversation, dancing, find a breathtaking view, just see what happens, I am all about floating with the moment, and do not tend to overly plan moments... That way, absolutely anything can occur.

Admitting it makes it suddenly not private, especially on an internet forum such as this. This is called public! I am basically an open book however, and will give any information that I have.
