My self-summary
Well, I'm a historian, that means that I love history but I am not some kind of wikipedia or a triva expert (usually, people ask things like "who was the second emperor in ancient Rome that had a cat" to see if a historian knows everything about history, and of course we don't. I don't consider myself as the stereotipical geek (or is there a word for the "social studies geek"?) although I'm sure I have geeky
(It feels a little akward to speak of myself in here, is like a job interview).
I'm lefthanded, and that makes me both a little clumpsy and little proud. I think downtown Bogotá is one of the coolest places ever. I love to see how all that sorrounds us is impregnated with history (the buildings, the landscape, people itself) and try to understand everything by knowing it's history.
I also like photograpy, but I don't take pictures, I just look at them. I think that photography is really close to history 'cause they both are telling stories from a particular point of view.
I'm okcupid 'cause a friend of mine told me it was fun, so I'm looking forward to see what the fuzz is about.

What I’m doing with my life
Although I'm currently working I think that I'm in that moment in my life when there are major decisions to be taken, such as when to start a phd program or something. I am un-learning most of the stuff I learned about life and I love that. (Recently I read that between the 20's and the 30's you realize that the certainties that you had are not written on stone and that is the time when major changes occur.
I am trying to make new friends (nothing wrong about the old ones, just that I want to explore new perspectives on life).
I'm also learning new languajes and habilities (such as cooking).

I’m really good at
History! and I think that I'm good at antropology. I'm good at dancing too, but probably just at salsa.
I'm really good making eggs (so far) and pasta.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I think that it changes with time. For example, in my teen years I used to love Rayuela (I still do, but is not the same like the first time I read it). I love El beso de la mujer araña y Boquitas pintadas. I think Puig is an amazing writer. I recently read Santo Oficio de la Memoria and I loved it. I aslo like Ficciones. But I also like to read blogs, like Orsai.
As to movies, I think I watch almost anything. For example, I love Die Hard (even the last one) and I also like Ghost dog. But I think my favorite ones are the comedies. About music I think the question should be not what you like but what you don't like. I don't like techno, I get bored by listening to it. I think almost anything else I'd probably like.
The same thing applies to food: I think is faster to say what I don't like. I don't eat "higado" or "yuca". Everything else is welcome. I love desserts.

The six things I could never do without
My cat. I think I could survive without everything else (of course, food and sleep are important too).

On a typical Friday night I am
I almost never go out. I don't know why. In college I got out more than now. I'm probably having tea (yeah, is really lame to even describe it) with a couple of friends and talking about politics and life.
Some nights, when there are more than the usual 3 people, my friends and I call that "a party".
