My name is Valerie, Val, or (insert fun nickname). I am a pretty free spirited fun chick.

My favorite place in the world is probably the zoo. I've a strange dream of touring the world's zoos. When I reach a certain elderly age I am going in some animal exhibit and claiming confusion.

I went to school for Political Science, mostly because I would like to make a difference in the world. Large or small I don’t really know how yet.

I like art. Mostly sculpture from Greek or Roman and this lady named Camille Claudel. She's old crazy dead genius.

I have a JV bowling letter from high school....jealous?

I am currently in love with the person who invented artificial cherry flavoring.

Guess I am a bleeding heart liberal but I don't take it that seriously.

People tend to be shocked I have a few tattoos. Something about being sweet, smiley, with the heart of a kid leads them to believe I could never do something so "wild".

Enjoy arguing over nonsense, sandwiches, walking random places, dogs, 42% of cats are ok, making up pretend stats.......

I just moved back to NJ after living in Maryland for awhile. Took back my part time college job at a Hallmark store I've worked at for years.

Trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life.

Also going to be my best friend's maid of honor in the summer which I am super excited about.

Music my favorite band is Jimmy Eat World. I have a soft spot for Interpol, Lily Allen, Meg & Dia and oodles of others.

TV- I love Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Judge Shows, Criminal Minds and Arthur.

Movies- I adore Anna Farris, and Will Ferell. I am willing to give any movie a chance, except Highschool Musical. So bored one night my friend and I went to see it. We literally went up to the ticket person and couldn't bring ourselves to do it. We just stared and walked out in shame.

I really enjoy some warm towels.
